Dubai Creek
Discover Old Meets New: Start Your Dubai City Tour at the Historic Dubai Creek Your half-day Dubai city tour begins at the heart of the city's heritage — the historic Dubai Creek, a natural seawater inlet that has served as the lifeline of Dubai for centuries. This iconic waterway is where the story of Dubai began, long before the skyscrapers and mega malls, when it was still a small fishing and pearl-diving village. As you drive or stroll along the creek, you'll get a chance to admire the traditional wooden dhows, which are still used today for trade with neighboring Gulf countries. These charming boats offer a glimpse into Dubai’s maritime and trading history, providing a striking contrast to the modern city skyline in the background.

The trip was very good and the tour guide was excellent. However, I don’t agree with the predatory sales tactics at the Gold souk. I think you actually putting people at risk of being robbed financially there. The rest the tour was very informative.

Pick up was hour and a half late. Although it was the fault of another guest I had to continually text to see where the driver was. The tour was a few hours driving around the city in a mini- bus taxi hopping off now and again at sights. One small cultural experience which was nice. If you want to spend the day in the car looking at the city then this is great. If you want to experience a little of Dubai give this one a miss. Although our guide was excellent - couldn’t fault him and he was very knowledgeable of the city.
