Your guide will explain fully the history of all the area including the other pyramids, of Chephren and Mycerinus, answer all your questions and you will have the chance to take pictures of the whole area. You will spend more than two hours in the area so that you can enter one of the pyramid's chambers or visit the Sun boat museum. You may like to have a camel ride around the area. Moving to the Sphinx area where you will spend some time exploring this monolith statue, which symbolizes the power and wisdom of the pharaoh. Next to the Sphinx area, you will visit the valley temple where you will learn about mummification in ancient Egypt.
The Egyptian Museum in Cairo
The Egyptian Museum in Cairo is one of the largest museums in the world. Your Egypt tours will take you on a 4 hours tour to explore the museum's treasures (opened in 1901). Look at the amazing monuments and artifacts in its different halls in a guided tour. Although the museum has tens of thousands of artifacts in this short tour, your Egyptologist guide will focus on the highlights and masterpieces of the museum Visit the Tut Ankh Amun Wing on the first floor and see his wonderful collection of historically important artwork. The treasures are mainly golden and they cover a quite large section of the museum. This area of the museum includes significant statues, furniture, and gold sculptures. After enjoying the guided part of the tour, take some free time to browse the museum with the option of visiting the royal mummy room.
Coptic Cairo
Visit the Hanging church, one of the most beautiful churches that were built in the 5th century. Consecrated to Virgin Mary, The church was built above one of the towers of the fort of Babylon. It has 110 beautiful icons and once was the seat of the Patriarch. Your guide will explain to you all about the church before moving to the Cavern church or the church of St Sergius and Bacchus. Thousands of visitors come annually to this church to visit the cave where Jesus the baby and the Virgin Mary were hiding for 3 months during the journey of escape in Egypt. The religious tolerance in Egypt is embodied by your visit to the oldest Jewish temple in Cairo. This temple is one among other synagogues in Egypt and is named after a merchant from Jerusalem called Ben Ezra. You will be given the full history of the synagogue and the position of the Jewish community in Egypt.
Temple of Philae
The magnificent Temple was dedicated to the Cult of the Goddess Isis, but it became submerged after the first Aswan dam was built in 1902, and it was not until the sixties that many countries attempted to save the Temple. All these countries, together with UNESCO moved the temple to the Agilika Island. The Egyptians built the temple during the Greek, Roman, and Byzantine eras; every ruler was keen on adding and expanding the temple to show his reverence to the Egyptian deities. Your Egyptologist guide will explain all the different reliefs, courts, and pylons of the temple
Unfinished Obelisk
Stare at the huge obelisk in Aswan. In the granite quarry of the city, lying the giant obelisk. It is called the Unfinished Obelisk because it was never erected. It would have measured about 137 feet (42 meters) if completed and is estimated to weigh around 1164 tons. It is believed that the female pharaoh Hatshepsut ordered carving it during the 18th dynasty.
Aswan High Dam
The High Dam of Aswan is one of the most important and great achievements of Egypt during the 20thCentuy. For many years, the dam represented the period of modernism in the country. It provided Egypt with Hydroelectric power and safeguarded the country from the dangers of the flood. Your guide will accompany you to explain the history of the Dam, its advantages and disadvantages.
Temple of Kom Ombo
This is one of the unique temples of Egypt. The temple was dedicated to two Egyptian Deities: Horus with the falcon head and Sobek with the crocodile head. The temple has two entrances, one for each of the two gods. The temple is beautifully located on a high mound. This location gives the visitor the chance to enjoy the view of the Nile.
Temple of Horus
The temple was dedicated to Horus, the falcon-headed. The temple of Edfu is the most well-preserved among ancient temples. Your private guide will give you a detailed history of the temple and its reliefs,
Valley of the Kings
At the beginning of your tour, you will cross the Nile to the West bank where you will visit the Valley of the Kings. The Pharaohs were hiding their mummies and treasures in this barren desert area. Many of these treasures were found in these beautiful colored tombs. You can visit three tombs to enjoy the colors and murals on the walls. The tombs were carved deep in the mountain rock; you have the option to visit other royal tombs such as Tut Ankh Amun
Temple of Hatshepsut at Deir el Bahari
Then continue your tour on the west bank and drive to the mortuary temple of Queen Hatshepsut. She is the first female pharaoh in ancient Egypt who ruled the kingdom for 20 prosperous years. This temple is called El Deir el Bahari as the early Christians used the Northern monastery, as it was a Coptic monastery. Unlike the other temples, this one was built of limestone and partly hewn in the mother bedrock. It has three terraces and its focal point is to tell the story of the Divine birth of the Queen.
Colossi of Memnon
The final stop will be at the colossi of Memnon. The Colossi of Memnon are two monumental statues representing king Amenhotep III of the 18th Dynasty of Egypt. They are located west of the modern city of Luxor and face east looking toward the Nile River. The statues depict the seated king on a throne with some other carvings of his mother, his wife, the god Hapi, the Nile god, and other symbolic engravings. Both are carved from single blocks of sandstone and the name refers to the Greek hero Memnon who fell in the Trojan War
Temple of Karnak
Karnak temple is a complex of temples. The temple is dedicated to Amun Ra, the chief god in Egyptian mythology. Enjoy the Great Hypostyle court and the reliefs and murals that were added through the generations. Feel astonished at the tall obelisks 70 feet high and cut from a single piece of granite. Look at the statues of the different pharaohs who want to show their loyalty to RA. Keep an eye on the magnificent tall columns and their papyrus and Lotus capitals while their shafts are loaded with hieroglyphics.
Luxor Temple
Following this, you will go for a short drive to Luxor temple. Originally, Luxor temple and Karnak were connected with the Ram-Headed Sphinxes Avenue. The connection was to celebrate the annual visit of Ra from Karnak to his wife Mut in Luxor. The temple of Luxor witnessed many historical eras and has its extensions and additions along the ages. Different structures and murals show the Greek, Roman, Islamic, and Coptic influences. Stare at the statues and obelisks of Ramses II. There should be two obelisks at the entrance of the temple but one of them was sent to Paris

Our 12-day trip to Egypt with Your Egypt Tours exceeded every expectation. From the moment we landed to our final departure, the entire team provided personalized, professional, and genuinely caring service. The Guides: Knowledge, Patience, and Humor Our Egyptologists, Mamdouh (in Cairo) and Ashraf (in Luxor/on the cruise), were the undisputed highlights of the tour. Their knowledge was encyclopedic, their patience was infinite, and their humor made every temple and tomb come alive. Ashraf took us through the Valley of the Kings and Abu Simbel, making the history digestible and awe-inspiring. Mamdouh made our Cairo days a delight, sharing incredible insights into the pyramids and Islamic Cairo. Our driver, Sultan, navigated the challenging Cairo traffic with skill and professionalism, ensuring our safety and comfort every day. Exceptional Logistics & Problem Solving My husband has significant food allergies, and every member of the Your Egypt Tours team went above and beyond to ensure his safety and enjoyment. We ate safely and experienced the true delights of Egyptian cuisine, thanks to their vigilance. When things went wrong that were completely outside of their control—namely, lost luggage and flight delays—the team was immediately on top of it, providing constant communication and stress-free solutions. They truly made the difference in turning potential travel disasters into minor inconveniences. The Seamless Experience & Personalized Service Our representative, Peter (who we affectionately called Peter Parker!), deserves special recognition. Peter handled all the transitions seamlessly and was our dinner companion, making incredible local restaurant recommendations and helping us order complex dishes safely. This personalized attention elevated the entire trip. The team also bent over backwards to accommodate last-minute additions to our itinerary, including arranging a hot air balloon ride in Luxor and even making a side-trip so we could touch the Mediterranean Sea in Alexandria. In summary: If you are looking for an expertly managed, high-touch, and deeply enriching journey through Egypt, book with Your Egypt Tours. We learned so much, saw so much, and had a truly incredible, stress-free adventure.

Recently returned from a 10 day tour to Egypt with my Dad and it was AMAZING. Highly recommend checking a visit to Egypt off your bucket list!! Our wonderful experience in large part was thanks to Your Egypt Tours. From the moment we arrived at the Cairo airport and were greeted by Ahmed, to the moment Ahmed saw us back off at the airport, they gave us five star EXCEPTIONAL service and we were well cared for 100% of the time. Each day, we had a nice air conditioned private van, excellent driver (shout out to Johnny in Cairo and Ahmed in Luxor), and without doubt, some of THE BEST Egyptologists. Mamdouh gave us expert tours of Saqqara, Giza, the museums, the mosques, and old Cairo. He was funny, engaging, passionate about teaching us, and ensured we were well taken care of. Ashraf gave us incredible tours of Luxor, Aswan, and along our Nile Cruise stops. Ashraf is the MOST knowledgeable Egyptologist there is in all of Egypt, hands down. (Well, I didn't witness ALL the others in the country... but he has got to be tops, no doubt.) In addition to giving us excellent information about each site we visited, I daily asked him questions about every carving or painting or hieroglyph we came across, and 100% of the time, he knew the answer. I call him Mr. Google, because no matter what I asked, he had the answer. He was incredible. His potential is well beyond simply giving my Dad and myself tours... He should be teaching at University or be on documentaries. We felt extremely lucky to have him and I highly recommend you choose Your Egypt Tours for numerous reasons, top of which is Ash. Beyond that, Ash and Mamdouh are both genuinely great people. Mona is the person you communicate with in planning the trip, and in addition to the rave reviews I had read online about the company, my interactions with her were what sold me on booking with them. She was always prompt, professional, and extremely kind. The owner of the company checked in with us prior to the tour and mid-tour to make sure we were doing well. My Dad had to change his travel plans departing from Cairo, and their team was extremely kind in helping arrange a few more nights there and another transport to the airport. Tips: 1.) Initially I had booked a group tour with National Geographic, however could not find many reviews of them online and instead found outstanding reviews of this company and they offer private tours for less cost, so I changed. Our private tour allowed us to spend as much time as wanted in each site, and to adjust our itinerary as we pleased. It was perfect! 2.) Initially I was a bit worried that there was too much downtime in our itinerary, but it actually was needed! It was a bit exhausting visiting all the sites, so a bit of down time actually turned out nice. You can always add things while you are there if you are feeling spry/wanting more. 3.) Factor in a bit extra money for tips throughout the trip. There was quite a bit of tipping throughout, always at your own discretion and not obligatory. 4.) Egypt felt very safe and friendly throughout our stay. The tragic conflict between Hamas and Israel started while we were there on our tour, causing our family members back home to panic, but there in Egypt, we both felt very safe the entire time. I would encourage people to still go to Egypt (at least as things currently stand) as their country is safe and lovely. 5.) Prior to going, I read traveler blogs and reviews talking about aggressive salesmen constantly hounding foreigners. While yes, there are salespeople at all the tourist spots and they are desperate to make a living, my experience was that they were for the most part all respectful and good sports. Simply say "no thank you" (sometimes a few times) and it is all good. I also started giving in when realizing that often what they are selling costs only one dollar and it makes a huge difference to them. Overall, Your Egypt Tours was an OUTSTANDING company, I am extremely grateful for their kindness and exceptional service, and I would give them, and Egypt, my highest recommendation. The remains of Ancient Egypt are definitely worth seeing in person!

It may sound a cliche, but going to Egypt was a dream and "Your Egypt Tours" made it real. There is so much I can tell about my experience in Egypt and by using the services of "Your Egypt Tours", but I would like to keep it as short as possible with some information that could be useful for other travelers that could be trying to decide if visiting Egypt is worth the effort, time and money (short answer, it definitely is): 1. It is safe to go to Egypt, I want to stress this as much as possible, it is very safe to visit Egypt. Never while I was there I felt in danger or I saw something that would make me feel nervous or worried, nor for me or for other tourists on other tours even with other companies, take regular precautions, be informed, but it is definitely safe. 2. Book a tour like this to avoid scams or hustlers. While you read reviews or watch videos, you may get a wrong idea around this topic, yes it can be bad, they can be very insistent, the best way to avoid this problem is to have a team of professionals around you at all times, and believe me, this is "Your Egypt Tours", I never suffered from this problem, getting in and out from touristic places was smooth and fast. 3. Likely you will still want to do some shopping, I would say, you must do some. Once again you will be with a team of professionals, if you do not want to spend much on souvenirs, make sure you talk about this to your Egyptlogist guide, they take you to the right places. If what you want is quality (I was particularly happy with my cotton based stuff), once again, they will take you to the right places, but of course, prices will be higher. 4. I will probably recommend traveling on September, still some large crowds, but I can only assume that less people than in winter time, it is hot, but I would say it is manageable. That is all above general recommendations. Regarding "Your Egypt Tours", I do not want to mention the names of the Egyptologists guides that were with me in fear of missing someone, but it was a team with deep knowledge of Egypt, probably many of my questions where naive or came from total ignorance, but they answered everything I asked, they shared so much information and even provided suggestions for added activities to the tour originally booked and all of them were wonderful experiences. But this is a team, there are some people I never met that handled all the booking, which was nice and easy and they accommodated my requests easily and then others like the drivers that, once again, a team of professionals that know how to get from one place to another on a very comfortable transportation with AC, which is pretty much mandatory with the weather, so you just get worried about what is going to be exciting on the next visit. And if that is not all, there was always someone that got me from/to airports, such and incredible service and team. Egypt is full of wonders, of course you want to see the great pyramids up close, specially if you can do it at sunset, same as the Luxor temple, or a visit to a Nubian village if you have the time. And there is nothing that can prepare you to see the temples of Abu Simbel, if you can do this tour, trust "Your Egypt Tours" and enjoy a fantastic trip.

I can't thank Your Egypt Tours enough for making my first experience to Egypt so positive. From the customer service to the top-notch tour guides, I felt very taken care of. Booking: They were so accommodating when helping me find the right package. I booked only a couple of weeks out and they were very flexible as I needed to make changes along the way. Safety: I was a woman traveling alone and of course my biggest concern going was safety. I felt very safe at all times. Someone from the team always escorted me everywhere and there was always a driver waiting in an air-conditioned van with water during the sight-seeing experiences. Tour guides: Both of my tour guides-- Taha and Ashraf-- were so knowledgeable and excited to share with me. They were also really kind and fun people to be around. *I also enjoyed Ahmed, who wasn't my tour guide but helped me with checking into places. I'm so grateful to this company for making my dream of visiting Egypt a reality and for treating me with such care. Thank you!

We are a family of 4, 2 children aged 7 and 12. While it was a very active and at times tiresome tour, it couldn’t have been better organized!!!! From the airport pickup to sites and tour guides, everything was superb. Ahmed planned our vacation and was very responsive and accommodating. Taha was our guide in Cairo and he was amazing! As well as Ash who spent the rest of the time with us! Perfect English, very knowledgeable and professional! The minivan and drivers were great too! Overall, we couldn’t be happier with our experience!

I went with some girlfriends and we had the most amazing time! All of our guides were amazing. Ask for Ash if you are going to Ashwan/Luxor.. he’s great, very informative! I’m Cairo we had Peter and Taha, who are also very informative! Taha is also very funny! Both Ash and Taha are very educational and the history of Egypt was so fascinating — I definitely learned a lot. The whole team is great at communicating and takes care of all of your needs! Our whole vacation was very private and we all enjoyed it very much (instead of touring with a whole tour group on a bus). We never stressed about anything as everything was taken care for us, and they were great at responding quick when I had questions. They also inform you on who’s coming to get you from different airports, instead of saying someone will be out front holding your a sign with your name. When we arrived we had a few people from Your Tour Egypt help us with getting our Visa’s and etc. It was the most relaxing and stress free vacation. I cannot wait to come back to Egypt and use Your Egypt Tours! Also recommend doing the food tour with Peter when you’re in Cairo, we loved all the local dish’s. Also highly recommend doing the white desert, it was beautiful and a once in a life time opportunity!

I used this companyin2014 once they were outstanding and so professional. I am coming back in mid January for another tour of beautiful eygpt . had lots of questions and concerns they honestly hands down are the best company I have ever used ,and I have travelled the world . They are patient , professional , and very kind. Mona the person I was corresponding answered all my questions and did not lose her nerves because I am very picky with my iternary . She is a big assets to the company ,The owner I called was amazingly also kind , nice and professional. It’s hard to please me and they get 6 stars for doing it. If you want to go to eygpt for a tour used this company their reviews say something about them. Honest , reliable. And get the job done efficiently and explain everything . If you go to eygpt I strongly recommend them.

This was the trip of a lifetime!! I am so very happy we did not let Covid 19 keep us home. Most of Europe is locked down but Egypt is open to tourism. They are taking all the necessary precautions to protect travelers. Masks are mandatory. The guides wear them, the drivers, everyone connected with the tour company is masked. All personal at the tourist sites are masked, hand sanitizer is readily available. The hotels are taking extra care in sanitizing rooms. Temperatures were checked. We rode camels in the Sahara desert, floated over the Valley of Kings in a hot air ballon, visited all the important ancient temples and tombs. Every small detail was handed by the tour company. They treated us like royalty. The Egyptian people welcomed us as Americans to their country. Smiles and thumbs up for USA. The best part of having a guide constantly with you was their knowledge base on ancient Egyptology. The guides were able to tell us the meaning of the hieroglyphics and the incredible paintings in the tombs and temples.
