The Eiffel Tower’s breathtaking but is it worth the extra price for the guide

4.00The Eiffel Tower is a must see! It was much more beautiful in person than in pictures or on tv and you’ve got to go to the top! Having said that, if you buy the tickets directly from the folks at the Eiffel Tower, they are only 36 euros each. We were able to take advantage of a little shorter line to get to the second level but it’s general admission to the top. You must weigh that against the 150.00 each that we paid.

5.00Long lines. Even with reserved time, we still stood in line for 2+ hours. But once inside, it was wonderful. We spent time at summit, second, and first floors. Wish we would have had some time to also explore the ground level. Fun experience. The summit is not scary once you are up there.

3.00It was Easter Weekend and there was very high volume and even though you skip the line, there were still line ups. Thankfully our guide Romain had a lot of good information and was engaging and made the time pass easily.

5.00A must do in Paris. Yes lines were longer than expected but this is the one and only Eiffel Tower. Views were great. Felt the tower was aging a bit from previous visits.
