2.00I spent $550 for three of us. The entrance to the Eiffel Tower is $36pp. Don’t do this tour. For the extra $430 we got walked from their shop to the Eiffel Tower, and a little commentary about the Eiffel Tower. While on the first floor, the guide pointed out a few sites to see from our view up there. Chat GPT would have told me the same things about the tower for free . The regular lines weren’t long so we really didn’t save much time skipping ahead. The guide was super nice, but I have no idea what I paid $430 for on top of the tickets. This is robbery. Don’t do it.

3.00Book this tour if you need timed entry to the Tower but missed being able to buy tickets ahead online, before they sold out. Don't book it for an in-depth experience. The actual "guided tour" is quite minimal, with the leader essentially just waking us from the agency through security and the entry to the tower, peppering us with some fun facts on the way. Then once in the tower, the entire tour dispersed. It's not really a tour, really just an expensive way to gain pre-planned access. That said the "tour" was well-organized, on time, and the "guide" was pleasant.

1.00Viator rescheduled our $355.82 visit to the Eiffel Tower on Bastille Day when the Tower was closed to the public in preparation for the fireworks display that evening. Thus, we were unable to participate in the tour for which we paid $355.82 for which Viator has yet to reimburse us or cancel the charge. Dealing with them has been both difficult and stressful as well as time-consuming and unsuccessful.
Do not book tours that do not allow cancelations or changes

1.00Be aware of rigid no change policy. I had an insurmountable conflict come up and neither Viator nor the tour company were willing to assist in any way with a change, even though there was room at other times. Mind you, I wasn't canceling, just asking for a different time which was also open. I lost all my money on this one.

1.00My review is about the tour company, not the tour itself. Our flight was cancelled leaving the U.S. and I notified Viator as soon as it was possible. However, due to the less than 24-hour cancellation, I was not refunded (±$700!!) and I could not rebook the tour. Extremely disappointing for my kids. I hope the tour company rethinks their policies.
