It is the responsibility of all visitors to be at the meeting point 15 minutes before departure. Guests arriving after departure cannot be accommodated & missed tours or tickets cannot be refunded.

1.00I arrived ahead of the scheduled meeting time and location waited along with 10 other people 15 minutes and we never found the guide. Finally one of the guests called Viator and was told the tour was canceled and we should have received emails but none of us did. When I contacted Viator for a refund they told me the tour was never cancelled and went on without me. They said I was a no show and refused to refund me. Unfortunately I did not get any contact information from the other tourists so now what?

3.00The tour didn’t really start next to the Arch railing - it actually met closer to the road. We were told guide would be dressed in blue - but almost everyone in Paris is dressed in blue. Would have been better to say “ look for pink flag.” Lots of people late for tour. Took about 45 minutes to get everyone checked in and down to group services. At this point, we laughed about whether or not we’d actually see museum pieces. We were surprised that “ masterpieces” included more than paintings, but probably shouldn’t have been. The guide was very knowledgeable, very entertaining, but there were so many people 6 of us lost the group - and we thought we were right behind the guide. We were walking 14k-20k steps daily before this tour, so it wasn’t a matter of keeping up, it was more the sea of humanity and too many people in her group to keep together. Very disappointed she didn’t come back to staircase to see what happened to us. Maybe one couple would split - but 3 couples seemed unlikely. We finally all split up after about 1:2 hour and did our own thing, One problem we encountered after being left behind was that since she had group tickets, and we didn’t receive individual tickets, we couldn’t go to restaurants and return to museum. Once out - that was it. Also, after we were left behind, we had headsets to figure out how to return. Overall, for money we spent on this tour, I think we’d have been better off on our own. After reading this, I probably should have given it 2 stars, but guide was good just too many participants.
