Our driver was excellent . So polite and accommodating without being over bearing . With our agreement the itinerary needed to be changed due to time restrictions Time spent travelling through the countryside was just as informative as the destinations .

We had an amazing trip to Ella with our guide, Sam! Driving from Hambantota, we stopped at some incredible sights along the way. The Buduruwagala Buddhist temple was a peaceful and awe-inspiring place, with its ancient rock carvings. Rawana Waterfall was stunning, and we enjoyed a short break there to take in the beauty. One of the highlights of our trip was the Nine Arch Bridge. We were lucky to catch a train just in time and experienced the thrill of crossing the bridge by train! Sam arranged everything perfectly and met us at the next station, making the experience seamless and unforgettable. Sam was incredibly friendly and knowledgeable, sharing fascinating stories about Sri Lanka’s history, culture, and nature. He made the journey enjoyable and engaging. On the way back, we even spotted a wild elephant preparing to cross the road—an unforgettable moment! If you’re looking for a great guide in Sri Lanka, we highly recommend Sam.
