Very long excursion but worth it. Starts at 5am and ends by midnight approximately. ICA ( Huacachina) is located about 4 hrs so be ready. Taxes or Meals are not included. Food is expensive compared to the Lima. So make sure you bring SOLES. Guide very knowledgeable and fluent on English. Bus super comfortable. Overall a MUST!!!! can't leave Lima without visiting Paracas and ICA.

The first part of the tour wasn’t great. There was no heat on the three hour bus ride to Paracas, many of us were freezing! The highlight for me was Huacachina; I loved riding in the buggies. I honestly wish there was a shorter version of the tour that only included this; 17 hours is very long. After I was dropped off at 11:30pm the tour guide private messaged me asking if I wanted to grab a drink, which made me feel slightly uncomfortable. Solo female travelers should be aware of this and exercise caution.

Wonderful experience! Loved our guide. She was super friendly and welcoming. Very knowledgeable and wanted to make sure everyone was well accommodated for. Would definitely come back especially with a guide like Rose! Loved how she was loving with my child and parents. Wanted to keep us all on a schedule so we would cover everything on our guide.

Firstly they should warn you that it is a 5 hour drive from your pickup to Paracas. It took forever to get there. The Paracas portion was great. We had a knowledgeable captain who was informative and thorough. He was determined to give us a great experience and we did. I saw a lot of wildlife and enjoyed myself immensely. That was the highlight of the trip. Now for the worst part.... Haucachina was a beautiful desert oasis. The problems began from the moment we arrived at our meeting spot, some random hostal. We were sent on our way from the hostel with rarely any instruction to the dune buggy boarding area. For reasons never explained to us they decide to split our group up. They put a majority of the group in one buggy and then put me in with a group consisting of visitors to the hostel that were there to snowboard and ski. Because of this the Hostel kids took forever going down the slopes so we ran behind and missed the sunset. This is where it gets worse, we arrive at the sunset meeting point to find the other buggy with our group enjoying wine, fruit and cheese. The tour guide did not extend any of that to the rest of us that were on the other buggy but part of the group. So we missed the sunset and we did not get the equal treatment that our tour colleagues received. When I raised this point to the tour guide he lied and said they paid for a different service. Of course I had already inquired with my tour colleagues on the other buggy. They told me they paid the same Viator tour price I did. After this we got back on our buggy's and returned to the loading area. After that there was no tour guide or anyone to give us instruction as to where to meet back. I ended up locating the passengers from the "wine & cheese" dune buggy group and tagged with them as we proceed to ask the towns people for the Hostel we arrived at. We finally got to there and saw our tour guide. We then boarded the bus to return home and it was freezing the whole ride. Not sure why they could not give us heat but I was so disgusted by the whole experience that I just wanted off. If you want to be treated like a second class citizen in Huacachina enjoy this excursion. I rather spend more money and have a more enjoyable and equitable experience.

We booked a day tour to Lima on May 30th and paid in full for hotel pick up and drop off. No one came for us, when we spoke to Peru Bucket list they said that they mixed up the date and we should contact Viator for refund. Please to refund our money back.
