What To Expect
Lima
We will start by making accommodation pick-ups at any location inside these districts: 1. San Isidro - 4:20AM 2. Miraflores - 4:30AM 3. Barranco - 4:50AM If you're located outside of our pick-up districts, we will pick you up at 5:00 AM at Starbucks Barranco - Pedro De Osma 102, Barranco. IMPORTANT: We will add all participants to a whatsapp group the previous night by 19:00 Peruvian time. We share exact pick times according to your location, tips and recommendations.
Paracas
From Lima, we travel 3 hours to Paracas to visit The Ballestas Islands on a 2 hour boat tour and see Sea Lions, Penguins and Birds and the Chandelier! Before the boat trip, we will have time to have breakfast. Breakfast: 8:30am to 9:00am Ballestas Islands: 9:30 am to 11:30 am

5.00We really enjoyed the activities on this tour! The boat ride around the Ballestas Islands was amazing, we saw penguins, sea lions, and many other water birds. Our lunch and distillery tour were very nice and the location was beautiful. The dunes at Huacachina were definitely the highlight of the day. The buggy ride was thrilling and very fun! Once to the top of the dunes we got to try sandboarding down 2 huge hills, our whole family (including 2 kids ages 7 & 9) LOVED it! After our sand boarding we took another buggy ride out to our sunset picnic which was beautifully laid out. Lots of snacks and drinks to enjoy while we watching the sunset. Only downside of this tour is the bus ride to/from Lima which made it a very long day. Traffic in the evening upon return was very bad so we ended up hopping off the bus before our drop off point because we knew it’d be faster to just walk it ourselves. Left our accommodation at 4:30am and didn’t return until after midnight. Still well worth it, just be aware!

5.00From start to end my family and I had a great time. The bus was very comfortable and the lunch was delicious. During the boat ride we were lucky enough to see a whale which was amazing. The buggy ride was so much fun and even though I was scared to sand belly board it ended up being an unforgettable positive experience. The picnic was just beyond beautiful!

5.00The most incredible experience, I don’t know how anything I do for the remainder of my time in Peru will top this. In the morning we did the boat tour and saw dolphins, sea lions and penguins all feet from the boat, the guide on the boat was great and we got lots of info about the islands themselves too. We then had lunch and a pisco tasting at the oldest pisco distillery in America and watched the most beautiful marinera on horse back. Thought the afternoon would struggle to top the morning - I was wrong! Arriving at huachachina I think the sand buggies are the most fun I’ve had in my life! The sand boarding is also a thrill and you get time to soak in the day during the sunset picnic. Our guide Gonzalo was great and gave lots of commentary during the trip. The bus was spacious, clean and comfortable and all of the restaurants we ate at were fantastic. Would highly recommend!!

5.00This was a jam-packed, whirlwind tour that was honestly a wonderful introduction to Peru (my first time!). Despite a very early start, we got to Paracas in time for breakfast (preordered on the bus) and then headed to the Ballestas Islands. Our tour boat took us within 10 feet of these magnificent South American sea lions, and we saw all kinds of birds, including penguins! Next we toured La Caravedo pisco vineyard, which NO other tour group experiences, and got to do a pisco tasting. Next we headed to Huacachina Oasis and our sandbuggy/sandboarding experience - if you sit in the back of the buggy, prepare to be LAUNCHED out of your seat during the ride (you’re strapped in, it’s a super fun ride). Sandboarding was a blast and it was amazing to have the picnic while we watched the sunset over the dunes. 100% recommend you take the full day to enjoy this experience, you’ll get amazing pictures and memories. George was our tour guide and he was absolutely fantastic, I now have the best pictures to show to friends and family.
