If you have only one day in Lima and want to make the most of it, this is your chance to get to see the highlights of the city!
We pick you up and head to Huaca Pucllana, a pyramid built in the year 200 b.c. by ancient Peruvians (panoramic), then we go to "The Park of Love" to take excellent photos with the monument "the kiss". After, we leave Miraflores to go to a non-touristy area, this is the fishers Village of Lima, where we visit a fish Market as we learn a bit more of the everyday life of Peruvians.
After Chorrillos, we go to The bohemian district of Barranco, to see the street art and the "Bridge of Sighs". For lunch we go to an indigenous market to try our famous and local ceviche!.
After lunch, we head to the Historic of Lima, to explore the mysterious catacombs below the San Francisco church and to have a meaningful Walking tour along with our guide. The visit to Main Square and San Martin Plaza are included on the program.

5.00We had amazing day our guide was Renzo - he was kind, caring and very knowledgable, nothing was too much trouble. Eduardo our driver was a great driver and navigated the mad Lima roads with ease. Our meal at lunch time was delicious with choices for every diet. All the places we visited were interesting and culturally fascinating- thank you Renzo and Eduardo x

5.00We appreciated that a driver picked us up an hour early to drive us to the meeting place in Lima. We were staying by the airport and didn’t realise how far we were from Lima. All of the sites were interesting, the food and the fruit was delicious, and our guide Alexander was excellent. We had a great day!

5.00We had an incredible experience exploring Lima with our guide, Juan. There’s simply no way we could have seen and done as much on our own in a single day — the logistics of navigating the city, dealing with traffic, and trying to prioritize sites would have been overwhelming. Juan took all the stress out of the day and made it effortless. Beyond the convenience, what really made the day special was Juan himself. He was warm, personable, and exceptionally knowledgeable. He provided fascinating context and historical background at each stop, and answered all of our questions with insight and enthusiasm. His deep appreciation for the cultural significance of the sites we visited made everything more meaningful. If you only have one day to explore Lima, this is absolutely the best way to do it. We left the tour feeling both enriched and grateful. Highly, highly recommend.
Best Option for a Single Day in Lima transitting to Cusco

5.00Everything promised was delivered, on time. Picked up at hotel with no problem. Good overview of Lima hitting all the most significant points of interests. Great option for someone with only a single day in Lima. Best tip- Just stay at the Wyndham at the airport when you land, right across the street from the terminal entrance, and they will pick you up and return you back to the airport at the end of the tour, all ready for your flight out the next day, presumably to Cusco.
