What To Expect
Our exciting adventure will begin at the Kilauea Lodge and Restaurant extension parking lot, where we'll provide a thorough safety briefing for our comfortable Fat Tire E-Bikes to ensure a fun and secure ride. As your hosts, we'll guide you through the Escape Route gates of Volcanoes National Park, exploring its attractions along paved roads within the park, with stops at each point of interest to share facts and stories. This offers a perfect opportunity for photos and enjoying the scenic forested paths filled with flowers and foliage, ideal for creating lasting memories. Please note that intermediate biking skills are recommended, and refunds are not issued for inability to ride our E-Bikes. Youth aged 15 and older are welcome to join us, but if you have younger participants, please contact us to discuss accommodation options, as our E-Bikes weigh 65 pounds.

5.00Wonderful guided tour through this beautiful park. I am an experienced cyclist but my first e-bike experience. No worries. Nicole took time training everyone in our group how to operate the bikes and included a practice ride in a safe lot before heading into the park. The tour included an easy short hike through the Thurston lava tube and tropical forest. Lots of park history, flora and fauna information and scenic photo opportunities. Take a water proof jacket or other personal items that can be stored in each bike's rack bag. Water and snacks also provided.

5.00Five stars! A great adventure and major highlight of our trip to Maui, Hawaii and Kuai. Our guide Nicole was not only an expert on volcanos but also on native habitat and vegetation. She was wonderful. The bikes were awesome and well maintained. Nicole's instruction on how to ride and use was spot on and easy to understand. We had a medium size group of seven and got as close to the volcano as allowed. Great snacks!

5.00Our tour with Nicole was the highlight of our stay on the big island. She was friendly and very knowledgeable about the forest and the volcano. Although we missed the eruption of Kilauea by 2 days, it did not make our day any less wonderful. The bikes were new, comfortable and very easy to maneuver, even in windy conditions. You could tell Nicole loves her job, and we loved spending the day with her.

5.00Don't forget a rain jacket. My partner (male 🤭) missed that part and we were caught in the rain for the last 30 minutes. Make sure you are strong enough to manage an 80+ lb bike on your own as well. There is quite a bit of walking (up & downhill) so wear comfortable shoes. Exceptional tour guide who is extremely well informed and can answer any

5.00What a great experience. I hadn’t rode an E-bike before, it was very easy and I’m 71. We were at the caldera for a half hour when the lava in the active volcano started to flow. We weren’t hurried and really enjoyed the experience. Awesome! The fauna in the National park was beautiful and our guide (Nicole) was very knowledgeable about the forest, volcanoes and Hawaiian history. Well worth the money!!
