Wow. I did not expect to have such a great time! We were welcomed to the farm, fed the pig and baby cows, milked a cow, made cheese and tortillas and learnt so much about the farm, cheesemaking etc. Orlando and his family are so friendly and helpful. All set in stunning views. It was lovely to stroke the cows - a real hands on experience. Great change to the hikes and wildlife. A lovely experience. Would recommend!

This was a really fun experience getting to visit a family dairy farm. It was very educational and we learned a lot about the local area, dairy farming, and the family who owns this farm. We got to feed the young cows, bottle feed a baby cow, feed pigs, and even milk a cow/try the milk. The tour wraps up by making your own corn tortillas and watching the process of how cheese is made. Of course, you then get to try it. It was very relaxing and I would highly recommend it to anyone seeking an educational, fun, and tasty experience.

This was the most informative and fun tour. We got to feed baby cows, pet donkeys, and milk a cow. We also learned about everything the farm does to be organic and carbon neutral! Our tour guide was the farm manager and she was so nice and explained so much. At the end we got eggs on a corn tortilla and a cheese empanadas, all from the farm! They were fantastic.

Wow, we booked this trip for my sister's 47th birthday. It wasn't wild or wacky and I thought... should we be doing this tour without small kids BUT absolutely yes you should, it was great! Orlando was a great host, his tour of the real Costa Rica and keeping it natural was superb but his mum, she was amazing! We loved the animals, and home made tortillas and cheese. The view was AMAZING!!

Visiting this organic farm in Costa Rica was a magical experience filled with authentic traditions and breathtaking scenery — from milking cows at sunrise and learning how fresh milk becomes creamy cheese, to hand-making warm tortillas guided by the kindest hosts, every moment felt deeply connected to the land and its people; surrounded by lush green hills, vibrant wildlife, and rainbows arching across the sky, the farm offered not only unforgettable activities but also a sense of community and sustainability that made the visit truly inspiring.

WOW!!!! Absolutely amazing tour! Major highlight of the trip!! My 8 year old daughter LOVED it!!! Beautiful views and such a delightful and friendly family, with the most awesome guide Caroline. We got to bottle feed baby cows, hand feed plants to boby pigs, milk the mama cow, see beautiful bird species on the walk, make our own cheese and tortillas ...and everything with smiles and the most warm and kind energy of the family. I cannot say enough about how cool this expeience was to do in this area, espeically with kids. A perfect way to ' rest' between hikes and other adventures. My daughter just said "that was amazing!" Thank you Finca El Paraiso!

My sister and I did the Finca El Paraiso Cheesemaking and Costa Rican Breadmaking Tour and we can recommend both wholeheartedly. From the communication beforehand to the view on the farm… everything was amazing. Orlando and his family are so friendly and welcoming! We learned a lot and the food was great. 10/10 recommend.

We had an amazing time getting to know the Finca El Paraiso Farm family! Their story is quite amazing -- and the literal down-to-earth experience was equally wonderful. We enjoyed meeting some of their animals, trying out the cow-milking experience, and then learning more about cheese-making. Sharing a homemade meal was equally fun - as we had a chance to sample some of their products and share stories between our family and theirs. Thank you again for a lovely morning in Paraiso!
