We loved this tour. Our guide was amazing. She took us to the market and we had a great time exploring it. We got to buy stuff on the river and even get some food! It was a win for sure. We even got to see a street market and saw the famous “Instagram train”. Don’t forget to bring a fan and pack some water. The humidity is no joke! Overall would do this again.

OMG….Sunny is ABSOLUTELY AMAZING! She arrived at our hotel early and because we were already waiting, she included a special “gift” on our tour. We had the most amazing day at the floating market and the train station. There were other special stops along the way as well. Sunny was enthusiastic and vibrant. She was very knowledgeable about the Thai way of life (past and present) and is a great photographer. I would highly recommend doing a tour with Sunny.

The drive out to the railway and floating markets was where the value lay for this tour. Whilst both markets were interesting and unique, I would have given this tour a higher rating if I experienced the following: 1. More commentary about the places i.e. their history, their purpose, their value in Thai life and other interesting insight into them as destinations. We didn't receive much information, just arrived and looked around, which I could have done on my own. 2. Clearer communication that 'private' doesn't mean just 'your party' - as it describes in the sales communication. 'Your party' is those other people you don't know who are on the tour with you. That's not private to me. 3. Direct communication that you get dropped off at MBK shopping centre at the end of the tour, not back at the location where you were picked up from (probably your hotel), which is the natural assumption.

My 3rd such tour in 32 years (and 2nd in 6) and still a fantastic day (almost) out. Picked up from our hotel 3 minutes ahead of schedule and wonderful level of communication/information from tour guide Kwan. We would have liked a little more time at each market, especially the floating one as it covers quite a large area but the boat ride (which was fab) took up half an hour, only leaving about another half hour to grab some lunch and look around.. I think the rush was to get back and avoid the worst of the Friday evening Bangkok traffic so fully understandable! That being said, the most important bit was we both really enjoyed the tour!

This was one of the best experiences we have even done. So much fun. Immersed ourselves in Thai culture is an under statement. The railway market is a must see. And the floating market is amazing. Great food. So inexpensive. Everything was very nice. The area is clean. Our tour guide Oddi was fantastic explaining everything to us and teaching us the history of her country.
