What To Expect

Easily visit Moraine Lake, which is closed to public vehicle access in 2023. Book a Round-Trip shuttle between Banff/Canmore, Moraine Lake, and Lake Louise so you don't need to worry about driving, finding a taxi, or joining the crowds on big buses. With this shuttle service, you are guaranteed to visit Moraine Lake easily. Meet at the public bus parking lot behind Mount Royal Hotel for the Banff location. For the Canmore location, meet at the main entrance of the Malcolm Hotel or Falcon Crest Lodge. The Transfer starts at an optional time: Morning transfer: The Malcolm Hotel Canmore (8:00 AM/9:30 AM)/ Travel Alberta Canmore Visitor Information Centre(8:05 AM/9:35 AM) /Mount Royal Hotel(8:30 AM/10:00 AM) Afternoon Transfer: The Malcolm Hotel Canmore (2:30 PM/4:00 PM) / Travel Alberta Canmore Visitor Information Centre(2:35PM/4:05 PM)/Mount Royal Hotel(3:00 PM/4:35 PM) NOTE: 1. This activity takes about 5 to 5.5 hours and ends back at the meeting point. 2. Please arrive 10 minutes prior to departure at the pick-up location to ensure a timely start.

An absolute must, seeing Lake Louise is breathtaking, that of natural beauty. Moraine Lake is also beautiful take the trouble to climb to the top, it's worth it.

Purchase a last minute ticket, like 11 PM, going to lake louise and morraine lake for a party of 7 with child. Its a promo ticket and I didn't notice that the only pick-up point will be in Banff and I chose Canmore. Clint from Cool banff tours message me and says that I supposed to pay extra since we will be picked up in Canmore but he will give it for free since I have a kid maybe its easier for us to go there, yey perfect!! Customer service plus points! The day of the trip Sir Andrew our designated tour guide/driver made our trip fun and enjoyable, he's also a school bus driver so we know that we're safe, very nice, approachable and helpful. He gave us some information about the mountains and lakes along the way, he even recommended some spots to go to that makes our trip more memorable. So all in all I highly recommended Cool Banff Tours, on time and best customer service.

I would recommend this experience to others. Just be careful when booking online. Make sure when checking out that you have the correct dates. I had put in for the correct dates when completing all of the info for another experience with Viator and after checking out I noticed the date had changed. Please double check. Viator worked to change the mistake, but it took all day to get it remedied. As for this experience, we had liked that we did not have to drive. Our driver Lucy was very sweet. She had bottles of water ready to give to those who wanted. We felt very safe with her driving. It was nice to not have to be concerned about parking at Lake Louise.

Our driver delayed us over 45 Minutes waiting on 4 people who did not show up in time and were in Canmore instead of Banff. Delaying our trip and negating our reservations for later that evening resulting in us missing out on our plans we had when we returned from the trip. Total disregard for the tour times.

Both lakes were well worth a visit, stunning scenery, on the hot sunny day when we were there. We were there early at Lake Louise, but on leaving it was very busy,which is understandable given the scenery. At Lake Moraine our guide advised us, if possible, to walk up the rocky path to the top, which could be a challenge, but the view from the top was amazing. We were given one and a half hours at each lake, instead of the hour that we booked for, which we appreciated. We were able to just marvel at the sights instead of just clock watching too much.

Mr Chen was very nice. 1snd1/3 hours ids too long at each lake. Lake moraine washroom facilities were disgustingly filthy
