What To Expect
We cross the Marie Valerie Bridge from Hungary to Slovakia to admire the beautiful view from one country to the other.
Esztergom Basilica / Cathedral
After that, we go to the most Northern point of the tour; Esztergom. Here we visit Hungary's largest Catholic church and building in general, the Basilica of Esztergom. Here we can go up to the top the admire the amazing view of Hungary and even a bit of Slovakia too.

Amazing Danube Bend Tour with Petra & Benjamin…the only way to see the area!!!

5.00We were two couples traveling to Budapest for three days before joining an organized river cruise. We knew that our cruise back down the Danube would not afford us time to stop in several of the wonderful little villages along the way. So I reached out to Petra at Around Budapest and booked this private Full Day Guided tour…and it was the best decision we made all trip!! Petra was amazing, immediately responding to e-mails, confirming the price and exactly on time for our meeting. The van, with Benjamin our driver, was spacious, new, comfortable and Benjamin was an excellent driver. We were luck in that Petra also was our guide and she was amazing!!! She was knowledgable, fun, enthusiastic, professional and always checking to make sure that we were seeing what we wanted to see and/or not spending too much time on things that didn’t interest us (she was wonderful!!…and we loved everything and everywhere we sent). It was a full day, but the pace was manageable and by visiting three separate villages/areas (Esztergom, Visegrad & Szentendre), we covered a lot of ground…but never tired or became disinterested. In short, Petra’s itinerary was PERFECT!!! If you going to be in Budapest and want to visit outside and around Budapest…then booked with Around Budapest!! You’ll be glad you did. It was excellent!!
