Only for certified divers. “Mana Crack” is an 11 mile long sunken barrier reef that has many different drop points. This is the furthest off shore dive site in the state of Hawaii! Mana Crack is known for its amazing visibility and unique topography. Great place to see large barracuda, spotted eagle rays, and white tip reef sharks. If you dive in Kauai a lot you will be surprised to see the java moray, rainbow runner, grey reef shark, stripe belly puffer, black surgeonfish and wringtail wrasse. We start with a deeper dive between 60-100 ft followed by an hour and a half long surface interval exploring the insanely beautiful Na Pali Coast! We can even take you in and out of the sea caves! The second dive is done a little shallower usually between 45-80 feet on a different drop point. Usually a few miles apart! If weather is not permitting for this tour we will reroute to south side Kaua’i diving and a 45% discount will be added.

On this 60 mile round trip tour, we do two dives on mana crack, an 11 mile sunken fringing reef. In between dives, we tour the infamous Na Pali coast. We recommend you have dive experience 15 or more dives and are ready for a fast-paced, strenuous dive. For the Mana Crack tour we meet at Kikiaola small boat harbor at 6:30 a.m. It’s an early morning but important to beat the wind! It takes any where from 30-40 minutes to get up to the beginning of the Na Pali Coast line. From here we will drive two miles off shore to do our first drift dive that is generally between 50-100 feet. After the first dive we will pull out sandwiches, drinks, and snacks. While we are burning off nitrogen on surface interval we will get up close and personal to the breathtaking Na Pali Coast where we will explore sea caves, lava tubes, waterfalls, and hidden beaches. We can almost guarantee to see spinner dolphins and during winter months humpback whales as well! After the hour and a half tour of the Na Pali Coast we will do a second dive at a different location on the mana crack dive site! We recommend bringing a hat, sunglasses, and jacket! We should have you back to the dock by 2pm!

Our experience with Jess and Nick was excellent. Their experience, knowledge, passion and hospitality were outstanding. We had some special requirements due to a back injury and they made sure everything was safe and comfortable. Not only that, we saw many beautiful creatures and landscapes including a Monk Seal eating an octopus, hundreds of bottle nosed and spinner dolphins, a whale, eagle rays and many rare endemic fish that you can only see on and around Kauai. Their knowledge on the history and formation of the Na’apali Coast added to the natural beauty. And lunch and snacks were delicious. Thank you both.
