5.00I had an incredible time! Amany is an extremely knowledgeable and kind tour guide who took care of every detail on my short visit. The pyramids were spectacular and met every expectation. We were lucky enough to visit the Grand Egyptian Museum during its first couple of weeks open. Words cannot do it justice. The exhibit of King Tut’s grave goods is the best museum exhibit I’ve ever seen, by far. Amany shared an inexhaustible wealth of knowledge and kept me on track towards the most important items in the vast museum. I would highly recommend Cairo Private Tours, and ask for Amany!

5.00Amazing experience! Tarek and his driver picked us up on time from the cruise terminal in Alexandria. Bonus: He had cold water waiting for us. During the 3 hour drive to Cairo / Giza he explained much about the history of Egypt and current life and culture. He is extremely knowledgeable due to his extensive educational background. He was personable and easy to chat with and ask questions. He was able to adjust itinerary based on our needs (when hungry, want to see a specific place or item, need a break or WC) to cater to our desires for the perfect day. We visited the pyramids of Giza and sphinx, went inside two pyramids, went on a camel ride with great panoramic photos of the entire area, went to the museum to see the mask of king tut and many other treasures…we checked off several bucket list items in one day! Tarek is also street smart. We felt very safe with him navigating through the Cairo chaos. He explained common scams, what to look for, how to negotiate and kept scam artists at bay. He also took great pictures and videos for us to document the day as well….great eye for the perfect shot! Highly recommend Tarek for your tour in either Alexandria and/or Cairo/Giza!

5.00Doba was an excellent guide. The experience was great for the whole family (adults and kids). It was specially very convenient to have a car to drive us until the entrance of the museum, pyramid, and restaurant. Strongly recommend as Cairo driving system is very chaotic, mainly for pedestrians.

5.00My friend and I spent 3 days in Egypt. Salah was our tour guide and Mohammad was our driver for the entire time. Mohammad was very skilled and always on time. Salah was so knowledgable and made the history of Egypt come to life!!!We could not have done all of the things on our itinerary without the two of them!!! 5.00With a day to explore Cairo, I decided to book a last minute tour. I took a chance with Cairo Private Tours and had an excellent experience- especially considering I booked at 9am the day of. They went out of their way to find a driver (Magdy) and a guide (Mohamed) quickly! With the help of Magdy and Mohamed, we made the best of the day considering we got a late start (the tour typically starts at 9am). Mohamed ensure we spent the time as I preferred and was very flexible. We spent a few hours at the new Grand Egyptian Museum, then hopped over the Great Pyramids of Giza, had a quick tour of the Sphinx, stopped by a papyrus paper demo/art shop (I had to get a few pieces), and finally had a quick bite to eat! Mohamed made the day fun (even tho I was a bit jet lagged) as he was friendly, funny, and personable. His english was excellent and most importantly, he is extremely knowledgeable! I love history and he was able to answer all my questions on the fly! I can’t recommend Mohamed and Cairo Private Tours enough.
