Since 2001, Oyama Sausage Co. has been selling its artisanal pâtés, salamis, hams, prosciuttos, and sausages in the Public Market to the delight of locals and visitors alike. Over the years, Oyama’s talented team of sausage-makers have produced over 400 different products, many of which are made with exotic and free range meats.

4.00Good tour, good food. Our guide Maggie is awesome. She’s very nice, Professional, REAL and very knowledgeable.. I really enjoyed the food tour but loved hearing all the History of the Island and vendors.

5.00Maggie was fantastic! It was like touring the market with a close friend. She shared stories about the market’s history, her favorite vendors, and was super knowledgeable about the background of each vendor we stopped at. I had so much fun going back afterwards to do my own personal grocery shopping at several places we stopped. I booked this tour as someone who has been to the market many times but was stuck in a rut of visiting the same places every time. This was perfect for finding new stops! I cannot recommend this tour and Maggie enough!!

5.00Lydia was awesome! The whole experience was wonderful and we highly recommend doing a tour if you’re in the area. She also gave us great suggestions on where to grab cocktails and stores outside of the market.

5.00Granville Island is chock full of things to see (and eat)... I felt that our guide Lydia really tailored the experience to us, and gave us an experience which was better than we would have had if we just wandered on our own. She told us the history of the different vendors, and had small tastes of food at each stand. The order of areas which we visited was very good, so that the tour 'flowed' like a progressive dinner. I would strongly recommend this tour.

Our guide Michael was knowledgeable and kept us entertained the whole time - I learned so much about the market's history and the diverse vendors. The food was delicious and they accommodated my vegetarian diet. We'll definitely check out some of their other tours on future trips to Vancouver!
