The tour company was very communicative with us, trying to get enough people in the group to have a tour. They did get a bus load ready to travel to the mine, but as we boarded, the mine called and canceled because they had an "incident" at the mine and didn't accept tours that day. So, there is no tour, but the company tried hard.

It was a wonderful experience to see the open mine in person. Our guide was excellent and provided facts about how the mine has evolved and how it works. Great experience!

Ann was so personable, friendly and knowledgeable about the history of SLC and the Copper Mine! Wonderful tour and so much better to learn about what we are seeing enroute to/from the mine than driving on our own and learning nothing! Great tour!

Scandalous. Tour operator changed pickup time with no informing us about this. It was impossible to call to tour operator, the while day …

Our guide knew a lot of interesting facts about the mine. It was amazing to see the mine from up high. I really enjoyed this tour and highly recommend it if you’re in Salt Lake City.

our trip was cancelled due to weather. However we were not aware of that until the driver pulled up to the gate and there was a sign that said "closed". It is unfortunate that the mine can't communicate to the travel company that they were closing. It wasted everyone's time. Our tour guide/driver was a delight and she was fabulous. I would more than likely try and go again if in that area again but was disappointed it was cancelled and the mine didn't give notice.

We found out that you can just drive to the copper mine and take the shuttle for $6.00 per person. The information provided during the ride there was predominantly available on site in the form of signs. Save yourself a hundred plus dollars per person and drive there. The mine itself is very cool but I would not recommend the guided tour at all!!!

Our trip was canceled because of inclement weather. But the good thing was we were refunded. We were really looking forward to seeing the copper mine.
