A professional English-speaking tour guide will pick you up from your hotel and drive you to the killing fields of Choeung Ek Genocide Center – 17km away south of Phnom Penh. The infamous killing fields have a bloody history. Once an orchard and a Chinese cemetery, the Khmer Rouge, led by Pol Pot, turned the place into what became known as the killing fields, where they executed around 20.000 victims.

It’s a very moving experience. Three of the four remaining survivors were at S 21 and sell signed copies of their book. Well worth buying!!! Guide was great ..superb value for money

They pulled a "No-Show" and only called me afterwards to cancel the excursion when I tried to contact them directly.

The knowledge (and English capacity) of our guide. He was clearly passionate about the history of his Cambodia and relayed his knowledge in understandable language. Both the “fields” and the Museum are really with a visit. Even better it was the most comfortable tour bus we have been on the trip!

Our tour guide, Visal, was extremely informative so we learnt a lot about the history of Cambodia. The tour is very dark and difficult at times however, it is important to learn about the history whilst in Cambodia. I would definitely recommend this tour if you want a knowledgeable and friendly guide.

Sum was a really good guide he explained everything in the tour very well. Although it was not a happy tour he explained that also, well worth learning about the history of this amazing country. Definitely recommend.
