Morgan Lewis Sugar Mill
The Morgan Lewis Sugar Mill was built in 1727 it is one of the many Barbadian windmills once used to produce sugar, and one of the two last functioning sugar windmills in the world. The Morgan Lewis Mill ceased grinding sugarcane for commercial purposes in 1947 and was subsequently given to the Barbados National Trust.
Cherry Tree Hill
Cherry Tree Hill is eight hundred and fifty (850) ft above sea level and is a part of St. Nicholas Abbey plantation. Actually due to the size of the St. Nicholas Abbey property, Cherry Tree Hill actually borders, St.Peter and St. Andrew. Many years ago, the drive on either side to get to it was flanked by cherry trees, thus the reason for its name; however these were replaced with mahogany trees which now line the road. The trees were planted in celebration of the signing of The Treaty of Paris in 1763

A great tour to see some highlights of the island. Ryan was an excellent guide and very knowledgeable of the sights and the history of Barbados. Will definitely recommend it to friends.

Tour guide was very good and the driver was excellent the house tour and rum tasting was a bit disappointing as you only go in two rooms and the rum tasting was very brief

This was an excellent tour! Sue our tour guide was so friendly and picked us up from our hotel early. We had plenty of time to explore the wildlife preserve and see the monkey feeding which was excellent. The rum tasting was very educational and fun as well. 10/10 recommend this tour.

I was picked up on time from my hotel by Orlando, we had a drive out along the west coast, stopping at Cherry tree hill, to the nature reserve and amazing to see so many tortoises, and the monkey feeding was a great experience. Then we went to st Nicolas Abbey where I enjoyed the train ride, heading back home along the East Coast where we stopped at Bathsheba for photos. Orlando was a lovely guide who was easy to get along with and very informative along the way.

Pretty bad. We booked for a “guided tour in a small group”. All you get is a little train ride and no transfer back. Had to pay $60 also just to get back to the hotel.

Our driver and guide for the day named Glyne was very interesting and informative, giving us commentary and amusement en route to both sites. The tour is a good combination of wildlife and history, with plenty of rum to try. A very well organised and enjoyable tour.

Chris the guide was excellent and knowledgable about the island so we learned a lot about the local history before we got to the Plantation. We also met the owners son, Simon who was very welcoming and helped with the rum tasting

Charles was our tour guide throughout the half-day! He was not only knowledgeable about all things Barbados but very funny. Kept us entertained the whole time. Would totally recommend. We were on a “schedule” but NEVER felt rushed.
