A wonderful, well-curated canal experience that felt both personal and authentic. Our local guide, Pond, was attentive and thoughtful throughout—helping us on and off the boat, guiding us through temples, and taking care of all the small details, from drinks and snacks to lunch and our final taxi connection to the BTS. The quiet electric boat made the journey especially enjoyable as we moved slowly through the canals, offering peaceful views of neighborhood life, temples, and even a few monitor lizards. It was an unhurried, responsible way to experience a different side of Bangkok, and I’d highly recommend it to anyone looking for something more meaningful than a standard tour.

This tour was a lovely mix of walking and a boat ride through Thonburi. We explored a historic Portuguese neighborhood with tiny lanes, a small local museum and family run bakeries, then cruised the canals past wooden houses, temples and gardens. Seeing the giant golden Buddha of Wat Paknam from the water was really a highlight. The group was small, the guide was kind and knowledgeable, lots of history and the whole experience felt very local and calm. It’s a great half-day away from the busy city.

Highly recommend! The tour was extremely well-organized from start to finish, and our guide was both knowledgeable and passionate. We learned so much about Thai history, local traditions, and hidden cultural stories that we wouldn’t have discovered on our own. The schedule was nicely balanced, not rushed at all ! And we even got to try some amazing local food that truly reflected the flavors of Thailand. Overall, it was an insightful, fun, and memorable experience that I would definitely recommend to anyone visiting Thailand.

I joined a canal tour in Bangkok and had a wonderful experience. It was fascinating to see the daily lives of local people along the canals, and the view of the Big Buddha from the boat was absolutely beautiful. We also had a great time shopping at a local market by the river, which made the experience even more special. Our guide was very friendly and knowledgeable, sharing lots of interesting information throughout the tour. I highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting Bangkok!
