I had the most incredible trip. Saw SO much. My driver/guide was Nagen. I was on my own so he looked after me but just enough to feel comfortable and supported if I needed, otherwise I was left to explore, which is exactly what I wanted. I never felt rushed or pressured. I could tailor the tour in that I could spend more time in places I really liked. Just an absolutely wonderful tour, I would throughly recommend. Saw amazing sights, best day in my trip so far. Book it now!

12 hour tour was to begin pick up at 830AM. Driver did not show up till after 9 AM. After driver gassed up his car, left KL around 911 AM.Long drive from KL to caves and temples by car, difficult on the legs.. Seeing the caves were interesting but not that exciting as I have seen more spectacular ones in other countries. The temples were quite well maintained and different in that some were incorporated into the mountains and caves. Quick drive into and through Ipoh 4PM to 430PM . Drove past railroad station,, post office, court house and city hall or administration under renovation. Quick stop in town to walk through concubine street. Had to wait 20 minutes for driver at drop off/pick up point as he went for a cup of tea and did not return till 450 PM. Gassed up and left back for KL at 505 PM. Back into KL at 705PM. Since this was just driver and the two of us, schedule very flexible. Skipped stop for late lunch got back to KL early and requested drop off at Megamall/Garden City area to walk around and have supper. Driver James has seven years in the business appeared to know area information well. Quite informative but as tourists sometimes could not relate to names and accent per conversation through traffic noise, etc. Total trip around eight hours but schedule flexible so you could of easily stayed longer at each stop. All in all it was an OK tour. give driver and tour an EIGHT as James was down to earth and made every effort to inform us of area and sites and trip was flexible. Tipped him $20.00 US after he dropped us off back in KL. Room for improvement would be punctual pick up time at hotel and after short walk on concubine street. Buy gas before he picked up passengers and buy gas while passengers touring concubine street, would of saved passenger about one hour time.

We made the booking in Viator thinking it is reliable and we had to pay in advance which is just fine. But the operator, RIYAS TRAVEL MALAYSIA, called and said they don't have driver and will try to get one, 30 mins after sched they cancelled and said refund will be given, to this date 10 days after no refund and not even advise on status. VERY DISAPPOINTING at least refund if you can't give us the tour you advertised.
