Your guide will lead you to a slew of other neighborhood eateries. There will be a rival smoked meat location, two rival bagel shops, a bakery for some sweets, an ice cream stop, a unique diner and an Israeli falafel stop. Loved the variety of tastings and the history of the area. Great to know how international the neighborhood is and all seem to share interest in each other. Our tour guide, Melissa, was perfect and knew sooo much.

Never forget the number of Montreal Meat samples we tried - all of great quality. Wonderful appreciation of the impact of Jewish food in Montreal , what a wonderful legacy to the families who started the various outlets and who continue to operate them and expanding their products. And I didn't know about this for my 80+ years
