Great experience and loved our tour guide. Very knowledgeable and made us feel comfortable with the equipment prior to getting on the lake! Also appreciated a courtesy call regarding weather conditions and offered accommodations for our reservations If we were not comfortable with the winds! Overall, very worth it!

We went kayaking on a cool and cloudy February Day with temperatures in the 50's but none of that mattered once we reached Suguaro Lake Ranch. The entire experience from start to finish was well handled by friendly staff and the kayaking along the bluffs was outstanding! Whether you have ever kayaked before or not, it is an easy and awe inspiring paddle. Highly recommended.

The drivers/kayak loaders were lovely and pleasant and the three stars is not a reflection of them. Booking is easy. For those looking to book kayaks, pay very close attention to the experience you’re booking. The actual Lower Salt River trip is worth the price and an easier trip/float when the river has enough water. You get wildlife, nature, and a balance of shade and sun. Wait for the season to have that experience, IMO. The lake canyon/cliffside kayak experience is not that. While the views out on the water are gorgeous and it’s nice to be outside regardless - the paddling is hard and exhausting. No wildlife. You are dangerously in the wake of boats, crossing water with boats (who are often blasting music and quite fast on open water.) To get out to any interest points takes very intentional paddling and it’s a lot to try and accomplish in two hours. My friend who gets motion sickness could not enjoy the experience given all the boat wake and waves. Also know that it takes about 40 minutes from your reservation time to drive, unload, and orient before you’re on the water. Then the same loading up and getting back and you are waiting for other kayakers to return. Plan ahead. Pack sunscreen, water, snacks, hat and sunglasses with a strap, and arm strength.

Day 1 of our Grils' Trip and our favorite experience! Michael was our driver, kayak "boy", and pushed us off on our way so we didn't get wet. Absolutely beautiful kayaking experience! Thank you.

My husband and I love to kayak. This trip was worth the money we paid. The views were beautiful and the trip down the river was very relaxing!

This route is beautiful! The water was low but still passable with the kayak. Definitely a must do if you are in the Phoenix area but do it earlier in the year.

We were so excited to go on the river (a trip I have done many times and love), but unfortunately due to low river flow on the day we were changed to the lake. The lake kayak is fairly lackluster and everyone got a bit bored. Definitely not worth the same cost as the river foxtail trip. Disappointing, although not the company’s fault, but shouldn’t be the same price as the river trip
