This was a really well run and easy to follow half day course (approx 9.10- 12.45) Our teenage boys loved it and I was well catered for as a veggie The market was a great experience and the venue for the class was clean, serene and cool. Green mango salad, yellow chicken (or tofu) curry and banana palm dessert - all delicious Our chef, Lon Ang gave excellent instructions and the whole team were helpful, super polite and efficient. Certificate and recipes to keep at the end. Highly recommended!

Such a fun class! Went to the market first to buy all the fresh ingredients which was a great way to see another aspect of life in Phnom Penh. Staff were delightful, happy to adapt the recipe to a vegetarian version & super helpful at every step of cooking. We made three dishes - and I might even try recreating one at home! A really fun way to to spend the afternoon & connect with local Khmer cuisine. Thanks!

This was a perfect way to experience and taste Khmer cuisine in Phnom Penh. It was a very enjoyable experience, from going shopping for ingredients in one of the markets, to cooking a 3 course meal with guidance from a local. You even get to eat the food you cook at the end which was the perfect end to the class. Highly recommend !

The staff welcomed us warmly, we visited the market to buy the ingredients and started the class. We prepared a green mango salad, chicken amok and banana palm dessert which were all very good and authentic. Our chef, Sao Sophen spoke good English and explained very well. Would definitely recommend, we were presented with a certificate in the end and they also took some photos for us during the class.

We had a great time with Lom Ang. She is a great chefkok and guide. First we went to the market with our grocery list. Then back to classroom for making our dinner. It was delicious. Lom Ang was patient with us. Thank you all for a wonderful day and lovely pictures! John and Linda Stans

We had just flown in and straight into a fantastic experience with Chef Lom Ang Peark and her wonderful team at Banana Cooking Class! They were so warm, welcoming, and accommodating — even helping us adjust our class time and menu without any fuss. It was such a joy to learn about authentic Cambodian flavors and techniques in such a fun, relaxed setting. The dishes were delicious, and the whole experience felt personal and engaging. And while you don’t need to, it’s lovely that you can even enjoy a glass of wine while you cook! Highly recommend this class for anyone visiting.
