Guide tip
Learn about George Rogers Clark, a Revolutionary War Hero that is considered the founder of Louisville. It is said that his spirit is attached to his statue--the air around it often turns freezing cold and visitors can feel a dark, angry energy.
Hear about the haunted past of the Mary M. Miller Riverboat, whose namesake is seen frequenting the control room to this day. Mary broke the mold when she became America's first female licensed steamboat captain, and her story is one not to be missed.

Kate was a joy to be around. She was very knowledgeable and you could feel her passion for her hometown in her stories. She made sure we all felt safe and comfortable throughout our tour and we all had a great time. Kate is very quirky and kind and she did a phenomenal job delivering a wonderfully informative experience. Would go back.

Booked this tour for a few main reasons, one of which was to see the Mary M. Miller Riverboat which is prominently featured in the listing for the tour. Well, we walked down to the water to find, the boat was not there, it was being displayed elsewhere. So we got to listen to stories, while staring at the water. Also never went to the Louisville Slugger museum or the Frazier History museum, which was also mentioned in the listing. So basically, we didn't get to see/hear about the "main attractions." Our guide was new, he tried, it's not his fault one of main sites to see was not there. I have been on many ghost tours, and I have to say, this one was disappointing.

Great experience, knowledgeable guide- would definitely do this again! I’m from the local area and still was able to learn some additional history and local folklore. Looking forward to booking another tour soon.

First time ever disappointed with a Viator tour. We didnt see any of the places as described in itinerary, were led under the freeway which was very dark, dirty, and loud with nothing to see, guide could not be heard well but very nice and polite. We wre vere disappointed in the lack of historical content and would not recommend this tour.

This was awful!!! Probably 30 people and couldn’t hear guide, who walked ahead and us in the back couldn’t hear anything. I asked her to walk in the middle of us, she ignored me. Started late because people were late and she wanted to what 5 minutes and then call them! We were on time, let’s go! Also NOT a ghost tour, more history than anything else. We left after 2 stops and many people were saying how lame it was. I expect bettter and want a full refund!!!

The experience was an enjoyable evening walk to not only see several sights of Louisville (like the Ohio River and the bridges) alit at night, but also to learn about some of the darker and more haunted history of the town. Belle was my tour guide. She was kind and informative, and I enjoyed listening to her.

Our tour guide, Bell, provided an engaging and informative experience. I find ghost tours particularly appealing for their exploration of a city's less-publicized history. The walking tour, while conducted in dimly lit areas and including some stairs, was primarily on sidewalks.

Our tour guide was friendly & seemed pretty knowledgable with Louisville history. We were just a little underwhelmed with the event. Additionally, we paid for an EMF detector that we never received for the the tour.
