What To Expect
Lahaina
Your journey begins at the Ku’ia Estates Chocolate Factory in Lahaina, the largest chocolate factory in the state of Hawaii. Our tour guide then drives you to our private cacao estate, nestled in the foothills of the West Maui mountains. Featuring over 20 acres of cacao trees, our professional and friendly tour guides lead you from “farm to the bar.” This interactive and educational tour introduces you to our cacao trees, the hands-on fruit harvesting techniques, and finishes with an exclusive 9-piece tasting of our award-winning chocolate. Check-in is 15 minutes prior to your tour start time.

5.00Lots of questions about chocolate before the tour, not so many now. So much information without tons of walking around, but the farm segment was so instructive. Brandi did a great job keeping our attention and giving clear explanations of what was happening. The best part was the tasting in the lookout. What an amazing view of LaHaina while tasting more chocolate at one time than should be legal. Great was y to spend a couple hours away from the beach

5.00We really enjoyed learning more about how the trees are grown and how cacao is harvested. The chocolate tasting was fun too. After our tour we enjoyed a light lunch back at the factory. I highly recommend checking this tour out. Our guide Steph was great and clearly enjoys what she does.

5.00Highly recommend this farm tour, it is very educational about chocolate and sustainable farming. I don’t care for chocolate, now I know why. It’s not chocolate!!! LOL. Mainstream, highly processed chocolate is nothing like this farm is producing. Spend some time to find out why. Our tour guide, Shawn, did an excellent job explaining the process. The chocolate tasting is worth it alone.

5.00This tour was fantastic! The tour guide was very knowledgeable and shared great information with us. We learned so much about the entire process from growing to harvesting and processing the cacao seeds. They do a great job in educating participants and it’s evident they are passionate about what they do. The proof is in the amazing taste of the product. It is well worth taking the tour. We were so impressed we immediately signed up for the factory tour and tasting as well.
