Our guide, Billy, was just wonderful. As a native of this area, he was very knowledgeable and able to give us a lot of insight and information. The Cradle of Humanity was a little bit disappointing. I expected more. But really enjoyed the drive and the scenery. The Lesedi Cultural Experience was really great!

I was traveling solo and it ended up being just me with the driver as there was no other group when I was picked up. I was dropped off at the Cradle of Humankind Museum around 9am, which was a good time to beat the school groups. I ended up having a private tour. Was then driven to Lesedi Village next and there were several other large groups there, so we moved around the village in smaller groups and there was a lunch option. Both stops were great and the driver was great as well. Would definitely recommend for solo or group travelers.

We were pulled over by men who said they were police and they asked for our stamped passports. A photo of our passports was not sufficient. The driver had an expired vehicle registration. We suspect it was a scam and that they were looking for a bribe. Very scary! We would have appreciated more time at the Cradle for Humanity.

I'm so happy that I booked this tour. From start to finish it was delightful. Albert of Pure Diamond was great. He was engaging, informative, professional and friendly. The Lesedi Cultural Village tour was insightful, fun and lunch was enjoyable. The Cradle of Humankind tour was educational and a wonderful experience. Try it and you will not be disappointed.
