Your food adventure begins with a warm welcome: Pastel de Bacalhau — a crispy fried codfish cake served inside the oldest tavern in Lisbon. As a second appetizer you will taste the richness of Iberian ham (Pata Negra): the king of cured meats. As you stroll through Lisbon’s historic neighborhoods, we’ll pause for a taste of Ginjinha, a sweet and tangy cherry liquor that’s a favorite among locals and a must-try for visitors. Then, enjoy the smoky, rustic flavor of Chouriço Assado — a flame-grilled Portuguese sausage — perfectly complemented by a glass of bold red wine. For the main course, start with a glass of Vinho Verde (Green Wine) paired with artisanal cheese. Indulge in a generous serving of seafood rice with lobster and Bacalhau à Brás. Finally, end your journey on a sweet note with the famous Pastel de Nata - the ultimate Portuguese dessert - and a glass of Port Wine. Whether you're a passionate foodie, a curious traveler, or simply looking for the best food tour in Lisbon, this experience offers an unforgettable taste of Portugal’s culinary heritage. Arianna was AMAZING!! We ended up having a private tour with just the 3 of us and it was fabulous! From all the tastings and history of Lisbon it’s a great tour to do when you first get to Lisbon. Highly recommend!!!

Great tour. We had cod fritters, Iberian ham, freshly-grilled chorizo, cherry liqueur, codfish with potato and egg, divine seafood rice, vinho verde, port, and pasties de nata. It was all very good and seemed quite authentic. There was not a ton of walking — I think we were within a 5-minute walk of the starting point the whole time. We learned a lot about the history of the food as well as the history of Lisbon and Portugal. The places we went were not touristy; several were historical, and Sergio also pointed out various other historic shops that we could visit at our leisure.

Although we'd booked a group tour, we were very luck to have Sergio, our guide to ourselves! As a native of Lisbon, his knowledge & passion were incredible & made this much more than a food tour. We had a great time.

What a lovely way to start our Libson vacation! I booked this at 11:45pm and our guide was ready for us that next morning!! He was friendly and extremely knowledgeable. It felt like we spent the morning with an old friend. We enjoyed several delicious bites, drinks and full meals. We also got a great tour of the city and overview of a lot of the history. I highly recommend this tour right at the start of your stay.
