  First of all, Neti was a fabulous guide. Her English is very good and so is her sense of humor. Second, she showed us places that I’m sure we would have never discovered on our own. The boat ride was memorable as it gave us a look at Jakarta from a different perspective. If you want to learn about the history of Jakarta and do more than stop by the usual tourist a stops, this tour is for you!

  The boat ride was fun in the old harbor. It was an old boat and getting on and off was a little tricky with collapsing stairs and uneven surfaces which led to the authenticity of it. Our guide was very good and explained things well.

  We were hesitating whether we preferred to see Jakarta by ourselves or with a local guide, but it was the best decision we could have made to book this trip! Our amazing and cheerful guide Neti, made the experience unforgettable! We had a lot of fun for the whole day and were taught a lot of fascinating facts. We had a chance to explore many different districts of Jakarta, not just the modern part. The trip was so well-organized (we were lucky to be there on a local holiday though) that after we finished the main plan, we ended up having extra time and were able to add extra activities. I definitely recommend the tour, especially if you only have one day and you want to make the most of it.
