National Monument (MONAS)

The National Monument, or Monas, is an iconic landmark in Jakarta, Indonesia. Standing at 132 meters tall, it symbolizes the country's struggle for independence. Visitors can ascend to the observation deck for panoramic views of the city. Every Mondays and a public holiday, this object are closed. However, you could stop outside the Monument.

So glad I booked. Fantastic day and experience. I did not have any plans to do an official tour while in Jakarta but so glad I decided to book last minute. The tour included 3 other solo tourists like me in a comfortable van which included pick up and drop off at our hotels which was a big plus in Jakarta. The day went so fast and I experienced and saw more sites than I would have experienced myself without the logistics stress while having the opportunity to meet other solo travelers with a fantastic tour guide Nabila. I would highly recommend.
Good experience with professional and passionate guide.

As the old harbor is under water, it’s not possible to exit the car. So you really don’t see a lot. And the time in the restaurant I would not add to the excursion. So in reality the tour ends after the puppet museum. And as we could not enter the christian church, we have seen 4 highlights: The monument, the mosque, the temple in china town and the puppet museum. - And for all together the price was close to 100 Euro. As I have been more than a month in Jakarta I know, for the locals that is really a lot of money. I propose to add another museum in the tour. Thanks to our tour guide, she has been nice.

Everything went perfectly, the guide was really nice as well. I'm impressed with her knowledge about the history and culture of Jakarta, appreciate the wonderful tour.

It was a very nice Tour. The guide Sikal is a very good Guide and her english is very easy to understand. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️. I learned a lot aboud Indonesia and enjoyed the Tour through intersting Jakarta very much.
