What To Expect
Santa Monica Pier
Depart Las Vegas and head west to the City of Angels. Once there, dip your feet in the Pacific Ocean and / or stroll leisurely on Santa Monica Pier. Enjoy the rides, go shopping, watch the people on the beach, all while breathing in the fresh ocean air. Take a souvenir picture at the end of Route 66 sign while on the pier.

5.00This tour was a great getaway from the hustle and bustle of Las Vegas. Got to see beautiful scenery. Steve was not only knowledgeable, but friendly, funny, and helpful. Felt safe the entire time. He made sure we had snacks and drink drinks the entire day.

5.00We took a 15 hour excursion from Las Vegas to California. Our tour guide Steve was awesome! Very knowledgeable and fun to take this trip with. It was a jam packed day seeing a bunch of tourist attractions all over So Cal.

5.00We were messaged 2 days before our tour to confirm pick up time & venue. Great communication. Straight forward early A.M. pick up from Bellagio. Lovely morning drive to LA with pitstops on way. Water & snacks on board. Bring your own or buy your own no problem. Santa Monica Pier was the first port of call. We had an hour to stroll about. Could have wandered around there all day. Beautiful place. Lunch was provided at Big Dean’s Ocean Front just off the pier. A lovely bar cafe where the food portions are tasty & plentiful. Back onto the bus & onto Rodeo Drive. We got dropped off by the Beverly Wilshire Hotel which is the one featured in Pretty Woman. A gentle walk up Rodeo Drive followed. Once the top of the Drive was reached there was an opportunity to take a photo at Beverly Hills sign. Nice piece of greenery amongst the concrete jungle. From there it was onto the famous Hollywood Boulevard. Known for the Hollywood Walk of Fame, Chinese Theatre & The Oscars venue Dolby Theater. This is the closest area you can get on a bus to get a photo with the Hollywood sign. There is a fair amount of souvenir shops & food stalls. All these bring the area down slightly in my opinion. The drivers we had in Ward & Jose were great to talk to & knowledgeable about what they do. Very good at communicating through texts. Fast response. We had a great time & would recommend using these guys.

4.00From reserving online at Viator to receiving a text from Ward confirming that Steve was on the way, this trip went smoothly. Steve was a wonderful guide with a warm personality. I learned so much about different parts of California that it was hard to keep up with all the details. I give it a 4-star rating mainly because of the first driver's rush at the Welcome to California sign. He mentioned that a previous customer was upset because he had only five minutes during their tour, but during my experience, he didn't prepare us well enough to get our cameras ready for the photo. It would have been better if he said, "The sign is about five hundred feet away. So, get your cameras ready, and maybe slow down a little or pull over." Instead, he just said, "I'm driving to the sign," turned on the high beams so we could take pictures, and then sped off less than 10 seconds later. Another thing I noticed was the Hollywood Blvd map. The black blobs with numbers were a bit confusing. Steve did his best to guide us through it, but excitement can make us forget things quickly. Having a visible map could be really helpful when that happens.

1.00We left from 6:20 am approx we arrived to Santa Monica at about 10:20 approx we were given 45 minutes to know the dock and then to lunch the food is not good, then we arrived at about 12:29 pm rodeo drive then from there at 2 pm to Hollywood from there at 3 pm the departure to Las Vegas from there to Las Vegas arrived at about 10:00 pm to Las Vegas. I don't recommend it is my opinion.

5.00The tour guide Steve did a great job! He would take time to thoroughly explain the different attractions we passed and was enthusiastic throughout the entire ride. I did this tour on a Sunday which was a good choice as it was less traffic thus, quicker to get to and from California. The van was comfortable with outlets and we were provided with free snacks and water throughout the entire ride. Definitely would recommend!
