What To Expect
Santa Monica Pier
Depart Las Vegas and head west to the City of Angels. Once there, dip your feet in the Pacific Ocean and / or stroll leisurely on Santa Monica Pier. Enjoy the rides, go shopping, watch the people on the beach, all while breathing in the fresh ocean air. Take a souvenir picture at the end of Route 66 sign while on the pier.

5.00We did the day tour whilst staying in Vegas. Me, husband, 2 kids and my mum. The tour manager messaged a few days before to confirm pick up and I received a further text the morning of the trip from our tour guide Steve. Pick up was from our hotel at 6am. We had two stops on the way. We stopped at Santa Monica pier and had lunch there, which is included in the price of the trip. We then went to Beverly Hills and Hollywood. On the way home we also had two stops. Snacks and drinks were also provided on the bus free of charge, if you wanted a can of coke etc this was 2 dollars, bottled water was free. From pick up to drop off Steve was great! Telling us about certain areas we were driving through or past and sharing lots of knowledge of California. We were dropped back at our hotel in Vegas around 9:30pm. It is a long day but so worth it. If like us you want to see LA but not bothered about actually staying there then this is the trip to do and would highly recommend booking through this company. Thank you to Steve for an awesome day!

2.00Let’s take this in parts. The Driving • 3/10. Very rough and bumpy. Maybe the driver needs to slow down at the rough patches in the road. Maybe the vehicle suspension needs to be checked. The ride was extremely bumpy and despite using seatbelts, your body shakes as well. Definitely a turn off. Unpleasant for a tourist. Santa Monica Pier • very good with no complaints. Great food. Beverly Hills • 30 minutes to walk the street and take pictures of the Beverly Hill sign. There’s no time to go into the shops or stop the purchase items. It’s a window stroll of the shops. Hollywood Sign • With an IPhone 17 pro max…you got a picture of the sign that requires full zoom. Definitely cannot take a picture of the sign and persons near it. The sign is way too far for a camera to capture persons near the sign. This is just a quick distant view of the sign. Don’t expect to get the instagram worthy pics where you pose near the Hollywood sign. It’s simply not doable as you are VERY far from the sign. Hollywood Avenue • only 1 hour to walk the avenue and go to level 3 of a building to see the Hollywood sign. Very rushed. Nearly impossible to stop but and shop around. The Food Complimentary water and snacks offered. The snacks are very cheap. Breakfast should at least be included especially when you have to get picked up 5:30 - 6:30. Overall, the touring experience is under 3 hours. The driving takes more than 4 hours both ways. Very unpleasant and rough driving makes this tour easily skippable. Would not recommend.

5.00The whole experience was amazing! Well organised, our guide Steve was knowledgeable and funny. Cold water and snacks were provided continuously throughout the tour and when we went for lunch I had gluten free options. Definitely recommend!
