5.00Our guide Isabel was amazing. She gave so much information and facts I had never heard before. You can tell she enjoys her job. I had recently had foot surgery, when we visited and she insisted I sit every chance I had. I would want any tour to be with Isabel.

He hit all of the most important paintings and sculptures that we wanted to see. We left feeling that we had received an excellent introduction to the wonders of The Louvre.

5.00We had a private tour guide and she was great. Knew heaps of history and information regarding the exhibits. Also made sure we saw particular exhibits we wanted to see as well. Only thing it was very hot inside the Louvre.

5.00Our guide was knowledgeable and experienced. The Louvre was packed, and that affected communications, particularly around the three-ring circus that is the Mona Lisa. We would have preferred to have retreated to a quieter room/part of the museum to be able to hear some of the things he was saying. He set expectations by saying that he was going to show us ‘three masterpieces’ on the tour, which he did. However, that seemed like a low bar for the price we paid, and for the riches inside the museum. He then proceeded to give us much more information along the way, often helping us to prime viewing positions. The two-hour tour was, in the end, plenty. We then also had time (albeit with waning energy) to explore other areas of the museum that held our interest. This includes an amazing Egyptian section.

5.00Our tour guide Emmanuel did a phenomenal job with this tour!! So knowledgeable and kind when answering questions and ensuring that we had the best views/that we saw the most popular of the art pieces!! He also gave us directions on how to see other art pieces as well! We went with 1 other family—making a total of 5 people in our group—and that made it even better! Skipping the long lines was the coolest! I do recommend taking the earliest available tour time, like we did. :-) I absolutely recommend this—10/10!!!
