Excursion to the Valley of Kings; visit the tombs of various Dynasties, The Temple of Deir El Bahari. On the return journey stop at the Colossi of Memnon which are two gigantic sitting statues representing Amenophis III facing the Nile. Then visit the Temple of Queen Hatsheput. The length of visit was five full days of exploration. The atmosphere was one of discovery and wonder. The crowd size was just right for a tour group.The staff were knowledgeable and patient. This is best for history buffs. A short story. In Edfu Temple our guide explained how the temple was buried under sand for centuries. It was amazing to stand in a place so well preserved.

The five day length was perfect no one got bored. The atmosphere was engaging and there was always something to see. The crowd size had other families which was nice. The staff were great and the guide Shreef was a hit with the kids. This is best for families with teenagers. The flight back to Cairo was the perfect end to a hassle free vacation.
