5.00Madeira is advertised as a beautiful island of mountains, sea, valleys and levadas coupled with beautiful scenery. When researching how best to get a taste of all this we felt that tarmac roads and cushioned seats wouldn’t let us experience the true Madeira. Viator, through The Green Devils allowed us a true off road experience and we loved it. Thank you

5.00We took a jeep safari through the mountains and forests of Madeira and it was an amazing experience. Our guide Jorge not only explained everything clearly and interestingly, but also drove very well on mountain routes and off-road roads. His experience was noticeable and we felt safe at all times. We also visited a beautiful natural pool. We loved it from start to finish! Fully recommended.

5.00Well organised, interesting trip. Pedro was amazing. Tip: be aware it can be cold in the mountains, so be prepared; we got lucky with the weather thankfully but we were not dressed for cold!

4.00The wild four-wheel- drive portion was really rough. It was much worse for us as we were in the jump seats in the back. I was feeling a little beat up, no -a lot beat up. But my husband had the time of his life and is still thanking me for booking it. We got to see a lot of the island.

5.00We took tours on the first two days of our trip and it was a really good way to get a feel for the island. After the two days we felt like we'd been there a week already because we saw so much. Octávio was an amazing tour guide. He gave us so many great tips of things to go back and see/do as we had a car for our trip. He let us know places we could go that are a little off the beaten track and recommended some really good places to get lunch. The tour itself was fantastic, absolutely worth the money. These tours do some serious off-roading, the tour we took with another company the second day really didn't compare. If you want to go for a swim, I'd highly recommend the pools at Seixal instead of Porto Moniz as they are less busy, cheaper and I would say more beautiful. We were very lucky with the weather, it can be so changeable especially up in the mountains but even if the weather wasn't great I think we still would have loved the tour.

5.00We were looking for an alternative to the classic bus trip and our expectations were exceeded! 🤩 Marco showed us the most beautiful corners in the west: we had an adventurous off-road route with a little levada walk, fantastic views, Fanal visit, ate very delicious, bathed and admired some waterfalls... 🥰 The weather played along and our small group was great! Thank you! Clear recommendation! ☀️

5.00This experience was the best day I had on my trip with my friend to Madeira. I highly recommend it. You get to see so many sites like waterfalls and viewpoints overlooking the mountains and fanal forest and my favourite the natural pools where you get to swim and even overlook the sea. The weather wasn’t really working with us and was foggy and rainy for most of it but the weather on Madeira is unpredictable and we still had a fantastic time. Our tour guide was incredible and really funny, telling us all the facts about Madeira. We even went off road in the 4x4 which was so fun. I couldn’t recommend this more its great value for money and you get to meet lots of people and make friends, ideal for solo travellers.
