We booked the Luau though Westin Concierge which was a lower price. The Luau show was very nice. Type of food, quality and variety of food was good. Open bar was mid-range which was fine (i.e. Johnnie Walker Black Label). Considering this category of drinks are $20-$22 in the restaurants, the bar had good value. The only negative was that they did not have appetizer. You can't enjoy your drink with no appetizer. They can easily serve part of the buffet as appetizer. Our waiter was very helpful and made sure we get our drinks. Overall it was a good fun experience.

Dancings and songs were good. The fire shows were great but only lasted for about 15 minutes!! We were very disappointed!

The staff is welcoming and friendly. Upon arrival you’re given a Leis and a welcome beverage. You get professional photos taken of you at a cost. You get a chance to go on stage and try the hula dance. The food is delicioussssssss and the show I rate it 10000/10.

These experiences are very commercialised. Not great seats for viewing the show. They try to fit in as many tables and people as they can in the area. Apparently there were different prices tickets for table places but we weren’t made aware of these and had bought the standard ticket on sale here. There was plenty of food at the buffet but I don’t think anyone went back for more as there wasn’t time before the show started. Some people didn’t get a chance to get dessert as everything was being cleared up really quickly. The fire show was really good but the dancing was average and rushed. They didn’t do enough to involve the audience and it didn’t feel authentic. I preferred the free show in Honolulu in the Royal Hawaiian Centre. Why are these things so expensive? I don’t feel that the show was worth the £165 that we paid. Hotels make a lot of money but can’t deliver a genuine experience. Felt very rushed and impersonal. Try to watch the free show’s and then go somewhere to eat yourself. Will be better value.

There was a good spread for the buffet dinner but not up to Westin standards. Most items were good. The short ribs were very tasty. The poke needed more seasoning, the fish did not have much flavor, the pork was dry and somen noodle was bland in flavor. On the entertaiment, we expected more fire dancing and knife performances. The extended hula and storey telling got kind of boring. The exciting part was only at the last part of the show which was less than 10 minutes.

Waleia luau is not in waleia it's on the other side of the island. We were given no details on where it was, so therefore we saw no show. I was even called by the people running it who told me we were on the wrong side of island after the thing started so my family wasted an evening. We were all disappointed. A luau was the one experience we were so looking forward to. I honestly expect a refund since I paid months in advance.

We arrived and were put in a line. They have assigned tables so make sure you register everyone in your group at the same time to get at a table together. It is outside, but not on sand. It is actually at the Westin Hotel. They gave a nice stage area and not a bad seat in the place. They give you a Lei and drinks as you enter and are taken to your table. Being outside there was a beautiful sunset. There is time to mingle or have your picture taken (for a fee of course) They also have a lot of nice souvenirs for sale. The meal is served buffet style by table. So not a bad line. Lots of different food choices and as much as you want. Food and drinks are included. After eating, nice show on the stage. I did not find it spectacular, but worth the cost. I would do it again.

I came expecting a more "commercial" experience since it is hosted by a big hotel, but I was pleasantly surprised by the authentic dancing and costumes and the variety of delicious dishes. Entrees included pink snapper, Hawaiian pulled pork, spicy chicken, and beef short ribs. (The open bar made me wish I was not the designated driver.) The music was provided by a live band and singers. The eight dancers were fabulous! The "Chief" of the group was clearly in charge and led the most aggressive fire dances personally. A truly memorable evening!

Expect a 12 hour Road to Hana bus tour. Also, Viator is not very accommodating when faced with rescheduling.
