3.00Itinerary was good. Wineries were not fancy, but pleasant. Our driver, Maud, was a good guide, pleasant, knowledgeable about the region and wines. Reason for just 3 stars: the winery guide at the first winery, where we spent the majority of our time, spoke quickly, with a serious French accent, so that he was quite difficult to hear by the folks with good ears. For me, with just slightly impaired hearing, I understood almost nothing, so I eventually stopped trying, rendering his narrative useless to me.

3.00It was a lot of traveling from Bordeaux center for a half day. I would recommend a full day tour. Our tour guide was ok, not great. He didn’t really contribute much to the tour. It felt like he was a driver bs tour guide.

4.00Carol did our wine tour and educated us on the region, terrain and grapes being grown in the area. We stopped at one winery for a complete tour and proceeded to another for a tasting. She was a very good communicator and kept everyone engaged.

5.00Nice half day tour of the Medoc region. Learned a lot about the wineries, wine regions, wine classifications, growing, fermenting, bottling. Our tour guide, Anne, was very knowledgeable and friendly. Would highly recommend.
