Fun day with Theo as leader and driver. We tasted lots of wine and saw wine areas as described. Theo was helpful and informative and kept us moving. A less rushed lunch would’ve been good. Talks from winemakers were a little repetitive and more water should have been provided generally. Lunch was sparse and late, though of good quality. Picnic lunch was not advertised when we booked. Felt we were misled. presumed lunch would be a 2 course sit down meal. A lovely day out.

It was an amazing day. It was a girls trip. We had 3 fun, nice people with us. Daniel, our guide was perfect. Passionate about wine and the history of the region, he explained clearly, also a great listener so answered all the questions, it was a true pleasure. The properties we visited were as wonderful. The selection for the wines was very diverse. The picnic hit the spot at the perfect timing. We highly recommend it.

We had Dante as our guide for the day. He was amazing. Very knowledgeable about all things wine and Bordeaux. We went to a total for 4 wineries for tastings, and that included one winery for lunch. Dante prepared a perfect traditional lunch for us all and we got to share a bottle of wine. The day was very hot but Dante ensured we all stayed hydrated with water. We had a bit of spare time so he took us up to the town and lookout of the vineyards. There was only a total of 6 people in the tour, which made it personable and intimate at the tastings.

The price is higher and for very good reason; the quality of the tour is unmatched. We spent the day with our lovely wine guru, Pauline, sampling our way through Medoc and St Emilion with four other wonderful people. We visited four chateau, learned about the wine making process from very informative guides, and wandered the beautiful streets of St Emilion. The lunch at the vineyard Palais Cardinal was fabulous and filling.

The overall experience was excellent. Our guide was extremely knowledgeable about the entire region and the associated wines. We were able to experience three different wineries and one wine shop, but what this did cause (and the reason why this isn't a 5 star review) is limited time at the first two wineries to browse their wine selections and purchase (we didn't purchase anything at the first two wineries). Overall we would still recommend this tour and would book it again in the future.
