Join us for a HIGH QUALITY, small group snorkel aboard the all new REEF EXPLORER, Maui's only luxury SUPER RAFT and snorkel the world famous Molokini Crater. Enjoy a full hour of snorkeling in this partially submerged volcanic crater, and view over 250 different species of reef fish and coral formations.
REEF EXPLORER is a state of the art, 60 ft Super Raft, which arrives to Molokini Crater in less than 30 minutes. This allows guests more time to snorkel in a private setting, away from crowds.
Our second snorkel stop is at our favorite "Turtle Cove", where we swim and observe the abundant population of Hawaiian Green Sea Turtles that make this cove home.
Tour includes breakfast pastries, Maui Gold Pineapple, freshly made lunch sandwiches, chips, granola bars, bottled water, sparkling water, Aloha juice, soft drinks, all snorkel gear and flotation devices. Our friendly captains and crew members make this the most personalized, memorable snorkel trip in Maui!

The boat cannot be held for late passengers, so please be on time and check in at 7:30 a.m.

What To Expect
Snorkel the world famous Molokini Crater aboard Reef Explorer - Maui’s newest custom built Super Raft. This ultra smooth ride arrives to Molokini Crater in record speed, staying away from crowds while gliding effortlessly above the water! Once in Molokini, snorkel with over 250 species of reef fish and coral inside this partially submerged volcanic crater, and enjoy a leisurely lunch. From there, our friendly and knowledgeable guides will take you to a secluded turtle cove, where you will swim with graceful Hawaiian Green Sea Turtles. Our favorite turtle cove is not accessible to large tour boats, which allows a completely private experience where we often see up to one dozen turtles at a time! All snorkel gear, lunch, snacks and flotation provided - All you have to do is hop onboard and have fun!

5.00My wife and I are hosting a work group on Maui. We have snorkeled Molokini Crater more times than we can remember We have usually booked the large boats. The experience on the smaller Zodiac was amazing. Faster, more personal, less bodies in the water, and all of the necessities. We will never go back to the cattle boats. Captain Esteban and Jade were wonderful. We made an extra stop at a turtle cleaning station and had 4 turtles in view at one time. After snorkeling the crater, they took extra time to follow two whales and a pod of dolphins. Expectations exceeded!

5.00From start to finish, this was a great experience! The scones and lunch were delicious! The snorkel gear fit great and the boat was comfortable, spacious and fast! The crew, Captain Brad and Esteban, were friendly, fun, upbeat and super knowledgeable! Couldn’t recommend this more!

Had a small group and got to snorkel the BACKSIDE of the crater which was absolutely INCREDIBLE. Never experienced anything like it. Saw lots of fish and even green sea turtles! Would go out with them again for sure.

5.00Highly recommend!! This is probably the best snorkeling tour I've ever been on (and I've done quite a few snorkeling tours in Hawaii). The size of the boat and group was perfect. The captain was very knowledgeable and kept us laughing with stories about the island. And they did the tour in such a way that the sites were never overcrowded and we got to enjoy the wildlife in relative peace. The sites themselves are also really cool. We saw several turtles, all kinds of fish, and a sea cucumber!

5.00We booked this tour specifically because of the smaller boat experience and after seeing the other larger boats in the harbor, we were glad we did. The team that led our tour were friendly, accommodating, and fun, with a focus on safety. The only downside of the entire day was me getting sick from swallowing too much salt water before my mask was fixed. But that's not their fault and in fact, they helped me figure out why it wasn't fitting right. We were out in the water for just the right amount of time and everyone on board had a blast listening to the music, riding along the waves, and feeling the sunshine.

5.00This was BY FAR the best snorkeling I have ever done! Sea turtles are my spirit animal so I was excited for the mere chance to see a few from afar. Boy, was I blown away! Not only did we see several turtles from the boat, when we snorkeled at our first stop we saw maybe a dozen underwater. We were warned ahead of time that law prohibits us from being within 10 feet of the turtles. I had no idea that several times I would have to gently move further away from the turtles as they surfaced mere feet away from me!!! It was incredible! And the snorkeling at the crater itself was amazing! I have never seen such clear, gorgeous water and the variety of sea life! Oh my! The coral backdrop that gradually got shallower as you got closer to the crater was breathtaking! I even enjoyed learning about the birds that were nesting on the crater itself. The crew was amazing and SUPER helpful. Always asking if we needed anything and making sure we were comfortable. There were plenty of yummy snacks, food and drinks provided. Would return and do this same excursion in a heartbeat! Oh and be on the lookout at the marina. We saw several turtles in the rocky area in the marina once we returned from the excursion.

5.00We had an absolutely amazing experience on the Molokini Crater Zodiac Adventure today with Captain Ryan and Estabon. They were both fantastic guides—knowledgeable, friendly, and made everyone feel safe and comfortable throughout the trip. The snorkeling at Molokini Crater was stunning, with crystal-clear water and so many colorful fish. But the highlight of the day was definitely swimming alongside sea turtles—it was truly magical and something I’ll never forget. Everything was well-organized from start to finish, and the smaller Zodiac boat made the experience feel more personal and adventurous. I highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting Maui—it’s the perfect mix of excitement, beauty, and unforgettable moments.

5.00The first stop was to snorkel in a area known for turtles. It did not disappoint. The turtles were awesome!!! Next stop was the crater there were coral reef areas and tropical fish but the highlight was by far the turtles. The zodiac was surprisingly smooth as a first timer who is a catamaran person.
