The drive itself offered breathtaking scenery — from misty mountains and lush green valleys to the warm coastal views as we approached Jacó. One of the highlights of the journey was stopping at the Tárcoles River, where we got to see massive crocodiles lounging under the bridge! It was such a thrilling and unexpected experience — definitely worth pulling over for a few minutes. The roads were in good condition overall, and the trip felt like an adventure from start to finish. Whether you’re driving yourself or with a driver, this route is a great way to see a mix of Costa Rica’s stunning landscapes, wildlife, and local charm. Highly recommend taking your time and enjoying the journey — it’s more than just a drive, it’s part of the experience! 🌿🚗🦎
