  Incredible experience and well worth the early wake up! Our driver Subrata picked us up from our villa outside of Ubud. We drove to the base camp and were offered coffee, tea and some biscuits as we gazed at the night sky and wondrous stars. It was chilly despite it being balmy in the daytime and we were grateful to rent blankets from the staff at base camp. After half an hour or so our driver took us to the jeep and drove us up the mountain to the viewpoint (note: not top of mt. Batur) and parked - it is a phenomenal view for sunrise. He took a ton of amazing photos for us and we loved watching the sunrise .I suggest buying or bringing breakfast as it is two/three hours to watch the whole sunrise and money to pay if you use the bathroom. Afterwards we saw the black lava rock, took more photos and were taken to the hot springs. We suggest going earlier as it gets quite crowded. Afterwards our driver met us in the parking lot and took us to breakfast/lunch and close by coffee plantation. We tried 14 coffee/teas and enjoyed the magnificent view before being taken back to our villa. It was the best experience we’ve ever had!

  Being up at the top of the mountain was simply amazing. The day trip was exceptionally well planned and all the parties involved provides truly excellent service. Lunch location was beautiful with spectacular views of natural landscapes. Coffee plantation also very well run. The guides were very professional and catered to our every need. They kept us informed at all times .. Great meeting Adi and his mate..!

  Amazing experience, Subrata and Andy were both lovely, helpful, kind and interesting to speak to. Watching the sunrise was amazing, the food was delicious and we really enjoyed the ride in the jeep. Plus everything was very prompt and efficient! Would definitely recommend the trip and especially Subrata and Andy :)

  The overall experience was nice. Pick up at 3am from Ubud by driver. Then arrive base of mountain at a resting spot for coffee where we wait for our jeep driver at around 5am. Then we went uphill by jeep. The ride was really bumpy but it was an interesting experience. We waited for the sunset while our guide helped us to take pictures. We did not climb as high as I expected because there were a lot of Jeeps in front of us. But the view was still great. Arrive hotspring with the jeep around 8:30am and you can spend around 1-2hrs there. We were in a rush so we skipped the coffee plantation and lunch suggested by the driver. Our driver was nice to help us keep our luggage in his car and dropped it off when we finished the tour as we had to move to another villa that day. He also drove us back to city centre for free afterwards. Arrived ubud city centre around 11:30am.
