Our guide, Rose, made the trip to the top of Mt Pilatus easy and seamless. Our bus trip to the gondola was quick, and the gondola ride, itself, was gorgeous. Although it was cold, we were blessed with sunshine, and the views from the top of the mountain were magnificent. Rose provided us with interesting details about the mountain, yet she gave us adequate time to climb the stairs to to peak, grab a bite to eat, and purchase a few souvenirs before it was time to return to the bottom. Our boat ride on Lake Lucerne was hampered by foggy conditions, yet the boat was warm, clean and comfortable, and Rose provided us with interesting details about the lake.

We can not tell you about our experience because the tour company cancelled “due to weather” on the most beautiful day of the week. Plus they are saying they will not refund us the money we paid.

Tours of Switzerland was unprofessional, canceled without notice, ignored our time, and left us scrambling. Their communication process was nonexistent.

Rose did a very good job on the tour but we got off to a rough start. The ticket I received was not clear on where to meet her. It had the address of the train station but did not say where in the train station to meet her. It might also have helped if she had a sign that told us she was a tour guide. So we lost some time trying to figure out where she was. The description of the tour said it included a ride on the cogwheel train, but it was closed for the winter. There were a number of people on the tour who were very disappointed by that. We also were very rushed to get lunch on Mt Pilatus. It would have been better if more time was allowed for that.
