Your guide will greet you at the Lucerne meeting point, before whisking your away to Mt. Pilatus
Our accent to Mount Pilatus will take us aboard the iconic “dragon ride” aerial cable cart, where we will float back to earth suspended in a giant glass cabin. The windowed walls provide 360 views of the Lucerne region, and many compare the experience to flying. Enjoy an ever-changing perspective of the Alpine landscape, as historic Lucerne pulls back into focus as we approach the end of the line. The ride is a highlight of any trip to Mount Pilatus.

4.00Interesting modes of transportation. A boat ride to a cogwheel train to a cable car to a bus. Unfortunately, we had taken all of these methods of transportation on our tour of Switzerland so it was not new or exciting to us. But had we not, it would have been much more of an adventure. Unfortunately, the mountain was completely cloudy and cold at the top. We were not upset because we had good experiences at Matterhorn and Jungfraujoch. But if this had been our only mountain experience, it would have been a major disappointment. Our guide was lovely. Not an inexpensive tour.

4.00We loved the tour and especially Anna our tour guide. One thing we would change is to allow more time at the top. Not enough time for both lunch and to take pictures from the different vantage points. Great job Anna.
