Truly enjoyed the day, and the expertise of our guide Nate. We went on a short hike to warm up, and then went on a longer hike on the Skyline Trail to view Glacier Vista. The hike was a bit challenging, but Nate was very cognizant of the group members abilities, and we had a wonderful time hiking to the vista which was amazing. I would recommend wearing hiking boots, and using a trekking pole (one provided). I am 69 years old, and able to complete the hike with some breaks. The trip was the highlight of our week in Seattle.

Matt was a great tour guide! Super accommodating and kept everything on track. The trail was beautiful and all of the stops afterwards added a lot of variety and value to our tour

The views of Mt. Rainier were absolutely breathtaking, but the tour itself was very disappointing. The group was large (25–30 people), and many of us were crammed into a tiny van with hardly any space. I already had knee pain, and sitting so tightly packed only made it worse. There was no room to keep a water bottle and coffee, no garbage bin in the van, and it felt suffocating—especially when the driver kept the AC off while waiting for others. It was extremely hot that day. I booked this tour expecting Susan as the guide (as reviews and my confirmation email suggested), but we got someone else who barely shared any information. It felt like we paid $179 just for a ride to Mt. Rainier. Whenever our group crossed paths with Susan’s, she was the one giving the commentary. To make matters worse, the driver even forgot two passengers at one point—probably easy to do given how overcrowded things were. Maybe the only good part of booking a tour bus was that they could park close to the Paradise Visitor Center while private cars had to circle around for parking. They also handed out hiking sticks, which I appreciated. But beyond that, the service was meh. Overall, I hated paying so much for such a poor experience when others got the spacious bus, AC, and a real guide. Not worth it. Get Zip car if you don’t have a car and don’t do this mistake.

Susan (our driver & guide) was friendly & professional. She arranged our stops to minimize delays, and ensured everyone had ample opportunities to use a restroom and purchase food throughout our 11 hour tour (including the two, 3 hour drives from & back to Seattle).

This tour was incredible! The whole day was packed with things to do. The hike itself was pretty difficult because of how steep the trails are, but wow was it worth it. The scenery was beautiful. Our guide, Rachel, was amazing. She was friendly, helpful, and brought us to some wonderful locations to take photos and videos. This is the best tour I have been on. If you’re considering doing it, I think it’s absolutely worth it.
