Booked this experience for a mid/late October date. The experience provides lovely views of the Sound, the nearby islands, ferries and ships on the water, and Seattle. The crew were really nice, and although there wasn't any real narration or lectures, they were more than willing to answer any questions the passengers may have. I think I saw the crew spend most of the ride talking to people that came up to them. Out in the water, the temperature does drop considerably (about 20 degrees lower than at the waterfront), so it's recommended to bring layers. They did provide us with sheets/covers for anyone who needed them, to keep warm if it got too cold. My only complaint would be the starting time. The experience began at 4:30 pm when the sun set at around 5:40 pm. We didn't see much of the sunset itself, and very little of the skyline lighting up as the sun set.

My husband & I went to Seattle for my birthday. This was our first cruise/experience when we landed in Seattle, and it was fantastic! Thanks to the marvelous captain & crew!

This was an excellent tour. Fantastic crew. Be prepared to get in on the action raising the sails. If visiting late in the season, dress extra warm. In the event of rain, the crew can provide umbrellas and ponchos.

This was a disappointment. Crew was friendly, but to call it a sailing experience is a far stretch. The tour is 2 hours long. And at least 1 1/2 hours is spent getting in and out. If we were actually under sail for a half an hour that would be a lot. Not worth the money !!

Loved the tour, but wear proper clothing for cold weather. It was different than your typical harbor tour, the German chocolate alcohol was great! I would suggest improving signage and directions of the meeting place though. The views of Downtown Seattle and the sunset over Puget Sound were breathtaking.
