The PDA requires any business or person conducting paid tours within its properties and in the public areas of the historical district to be pre-approved and to have a license for this activity.

Due to space constraints and uneven roads, strollers and wheelchairs are difficult to accommodate on the tour. Please plan that you will be walking about one mile and standing for the majority of the tour and possibly in direct sunlight or rain. We recommend comfortable footwear, appropriate clothing for the weather, and a bottle of water. Water will also be for sale at the meeting location

5.00Second time in a few months taking this tour led by Frankie. This time with family from Europe and California. So very fun - highly recommend. I love that Frankie shares the history of Pikes Place Market while introducing us to new tastes of the market. Vegetarian options available too. So all in all, a great way to spend time with family in our hometown.

5.00When my sister suggested this tour, I was skeptical. Many food tours are just walking around getting a few tastes. THIS WAS SO MUCH MORE. First, our guide, Kacey (sp?) was magnificent. Passionate, knowledgeable, friendly, funny. She'd been a chef, worked in the market before, and she was working in a shop now to supplement her guide $$. She clearly loved the market, knew its history, its ins-and-outs, took time to learn more. Exactly what a tour guide should be. She not only gave us the history of the market, but shared how the market organization is run today as a true community enterprise. Wow! There's so much more to Pike Place than meets the eye. So much more than vendors. All the community support, the rigorous requirements about locally and hand-made, the social service organizations for market people. While this is called a 'food' tour - the food was absolutely the least important part (though delicious!!). Kacey is great. And she told us about some of the training that the Savor guides go through -- impressive! My suggestion: make this the first tour on your trip to Seattle. It opens your eyes. GREAT TOUR.

5.00This tour was the best way to explore the food offerings at the Market. All the tastings were delicious and after the tour we went back to 3 places to purchase more. Tessa was the BEST tour guide. She knew the history of the Market as well as the foods we were tasting. She gets 5 STARS!

5.00We knew that on our short stay in Seattle we had to visit Pike Place Market. This culinary tour checked all of the boxes with what we hoped to see, hear, AND taste. Our guide was a wealth of knowledge and good humor. Every delicious stop seemed like it couldn't get any better. But wait...there was more! ;) Each tasting included a fascinating back story that made the food taste even more delicious. I've been recommending this to everyone!

5.00Kacey did a wonderful job of sharing the culture of the market and giving us some excellent food. We learned how the market started and how it came to be what it is today. The food was amazing. Chowder, donuts, chocolate cherries, soup, gelato, and fish. 10/10 recommend!
