The marina is at the same time a port of call, of passage, of wintering and of regattas, made of the Marin.
Bourghiba Mausoleum
The mausoleum built in Bourguiba's lifetime, in 1963, according to the characteristics of traditional architecture (modern Arab-Muslim style), is located in the western part of the Sidi El Mézeri cemetery, the main burial place of the city, at the end From the main alley, about 200 meters long and thirty meters wide. The building, framed by two 25 meter high minarets, is surmounted by a golden dome that is itself surrounded by two green domes. The entrance door to the mausoleum and the grid that separates it from the rest of the cemetery are two fine examples of Tunisian art.

The driver was prompt and did his best to deliver the tour as described on Viator. His. English was good and he had command of the facts. He was able to answer my questions. He could have offered bottled water. The day was extremely hot. He offered to turn the AC on in the car once.

Our guide was excellent! (Just my husband & I traveling) Picked us up at our hotel in Hammamet on time. Our guide was one of the best we’ve ever had, and we have traveled the world for many years. He is 37 yrs old married w/4yr old daughter. Speaks multiple languages. Ghasser? Is his name? Don’t know if I spelled correctly! He had so much detailed info about history and also little known facts…. He took us to a restaurant we meet the owner & had fresh juice & local sweets upstairs on a lovely rooftop with amazing views overlooking the Medina & Waterfront. We were very fortunate this time of year (early March) perfect weather for us 60-upper70s degrees F. Not high tourist season. This was an all day tour which covered all the sights & areas we had left on our list of must sees! We have enjoyed Tunisia immensely for our first time here spending 15 days. People are super friendly, helpful & polite. Very affordable overall. We’ve used multiple touring companies Viator has an easy to book app & we’ve never had any problems!

That TUNISIA is dirty, unfortunately. We took a ride in the medina, souk, but .not 1 step without being caught. Everybody knows you, they're the kings of blah.
