Cycling in Karura Forest was an excellent experience. But you can actually just go there yourself with an UBER and rent a bicycle and a guide who are available there - if you are on a budget. The bikes really look battered but they are functional. And they have helmets there if you want.

Fun ride, our guide took us to a variety of places and did not follow any one trail which made it worth not just doing on our own. While the ride was not for an inexperienced rider, he knew we both ride at home so I think took us on a harder but very enjoyable path. He was very knowledgable and showed us a lot of the park.
