Nairobi National Park

Nairobi National Park is a national park in Kenya that was established in 1946 about 7 km south of Nairobi. It is fenced on three sides, whereas the open southern boundary allows migrating wildlife to move between the park and the adjacent Kitengela plains. Herbivores gather in the park during the dry season. The park have the big Four and it’s the only park within the city with wildlife

The park has various scenery nature sites and picnic sites including the Hippo dam that host the hippopotamus and crocodile, hyena dam another dam that has a territory of hyenas, Ivory site burns and Various permanent rivers like Mokoyeti river and seasonal rivers.

Extremely disappointed. Guide and driver 30 mins late. No apology. 40 mins extended wait at gate entrance because driver did not want to / could not pay vehicle entry. Guide disappeared. Driver tried to get us to pay for the vehicle and his ticket when it is included in the substantial base price. Kenya Wildlife then forcibly charged $80 per person despite high court ruling that they cannot do so. Should be $43 (which they charged some visitors but not us). Driver of no help whatsoever. Would not recommend at all.

What an amazing experience! We saw so many animals in such a short amount of time, all in the National park. Our driver Yesler was great, knowledgeable, and worked hard to give us a great experience.
So glad we added this tour to our Kenya itinerary

Surprised by the number of animals we were able to see so close to Nairobi. We arranged a last minute tour before heading to other parts of Kenya, and we were so glad we did. Our guide, Sugow, did a great job.

Jackson and Sugoow did an amazing job! We saw a lot of different animals, and they really took their time to stop and allow us to get closer looks. Very friendly as well :)

Very impromptu booking, not so good in finding the meeting point, and then there was the incident that I forgot to bring my credit card!However, my guide Sugow was very competent, young, energetic and smiling, I give 5 stars for the guide part!
