Amazing how everything fits inside - tent, sleeping bag, pad, cookware, etc. So much space! Took it backpacking the other month on a hi-elevation overnighter and loved it. Even loaded down w/ 30+ lbs. of gear, the comfortable fit made it seem much lighter. Best backpack I've ever had.

I've been using this bundle since last summer. Two things: first, the tent got submerged in the Salmon and ended up performing perfectly that night with minor damage to a tent pole. That's unbelievable. Second, I put my gear through the ringer, and with the exception of the first gen water bottle (since improved to fix a leak) everything works superbly. I live where there can be brutal storms and I like having this pack in my car just in case. Near Zero straddles that perfect space between Walmart and REI's $900 tents. I have some of those tents because I'm a pro athlete- AND this tent is now my go-to for summer, having been tested hard on a seven-day raft trip. I'm impressed- for the price, you get so much. Above all, for the inexperienced backpacker, for those understandably confused by the millions of choices at camping stores, this bundle fixes your problem. Everything you need, nothing you don't. Add your clothing, food and water and you are ready for adventure.

Took our young family of 7 on a backpacking trip. I was dreading gathering all the equipment for everyone. Renting 5 near zero bundle backpacks made it so simple! The packs are extremely light and everything worked as advertised. The only problem with renting the equipment is now I want to buy it all for the family! Super impressed with the company and how streamline the rental process is.

My two daughters are in the Cub Scouts and we have all Near Zero Gear. Most of our Pack use it as well. I am an Eagle Scout and have been using Near Zero gear for a couple of years now. I love how light weight and durable it is, but also it’s very intuitive. Cub Scouts can setup a tent in minutes with little instruction. The backpacks are very comfortable and light weight. The sleeping bags, pads, and pillows are all very comfortable and super light weight. All of their products are the quality that experienced, serious backpackers want, with all of the features we expect, but easy enough that anyone can use with no experience at all. When I have had any questions, their customer service has been second to none! The backpack can also be used as a carryon on a plane or bus. We will definitely be using Near Zero for all of our adventures for years to come!

I’m in love with the tent and sleeping system. Much lighter than my last set. I used to be an REI half dome (tent) guy. Near Zero won me over. Larger and lighter. I went for the 3 man tent for my wife and I. Loved the extra space. Crazy easy to set up (around 3 minutes). The sleeping bags pack down small - I’m not sure what the R ratings was but with the pad and bag, I ended up unzipping it a bit bc it was that warm. I was up in Estes Park area (about 7500 ft in elevation. So it gets pretty cool at night) this bag was perfect. Everything was durable easy to use. Great product, use it. You won’t be disappointed.
