Utica
Utica, established around 1100 BC, is one of the earliest Phoenician trading posts in Africa. Once a prominent capital linked to Carthage, it was overshadowed by a neighboring city founded in the late 9th century BC. Despite facing highs and lows, Utica made a pivotal choice during the conflict between Carthage and Rome, aligning with the victorious side. This decision in 146 BC led to its revival as the capital of Africa for the next 130 years. Today, the archaeological site of Utica, now 12 kilometers inland due to sedimentation from the Medjerda River, holds significant historical value. Visitors can discover various structures, including the remarkable "waterfall house," temples, a forum, thermal baths, and remnants of theaters and amphitheaters. Utica stands as a testament to the rich legacy of Phoenician civilization in Africa.
Qsiba
Discover the Qsiba, nestled in the heart of Bizerte, where the charm of the old port meets the majestic historic fort of the Medina. With an enchanting resemblance to Venice, Bizerte's Medina showcases a captivating blend of typical Muslim and Arab architectural styles. Visiting this vibrant area, day or night, promises an unforgettable experience you won’t want to miss!

I was interested in visiting the northern part of Tunisia so I decided to book this day tour. This tour was fantastic and I’m glad I did indeed book it. The tour started at 8:30 am when my guide, Ghassen, picked me up from hotel and it ended when he dropped me back off around 5 pm. I got to visit many iconic places in northern Tunisia such as Utica, Bizerte (my favorite), Cape Angela, and Ichkeul National Park. I had a great day overall and a big thank you to Ghassen, for doing an excellent job being my guide and driver today. He managed to have a fantastic seafood lunch set up for us while we were in Bizerte and that meal ended up being the best meal of my whole trip! Visiting the northern part of Tunisia should be on every visitors must do list so definitely consider booking this tour, I highly recommend it! - Nolan

The tour was very well planned and organized by Ghassen from Tunisia Guided Tours. He responded to all of my queries prior to the tour promptly and everything went as planned. The sights we visited were definitely worth visiting. Mohamed was a very knowledgeable guide about the Roman, Berber and other eras in the history of Tunisia. The driver Amer and the guide arrived on time, the car was modern and very comfortable. I definitely recommend this tour!

It was our last day in Tunisia and this tour surely meets every expectation. Our driver takes good care of us and is very responsible. The tour guide tells us interesting stories and historical backgrounds at Utica and Bizerte Medina. We have another local expert to guide us in the National Park and finds lots of flamingos and other birds and creatures. Also the view in Cap Angela is stunning. A really nice tour!

Guides Anis and Amer were fantastic! Cape Angela is beautiful. Utica is a must-see archeological site and the flamingos in National park were fun to see. The waterfront in Bizerte was fun to see (similar to Venice).

Loved this day! As a solo traveler, this tour was perfect for me. I had toured Carthage and Sidi Bou Said the day before this tour and the contrast with seeing Utica and Bizerte the next day felt like I was getting to see the true hidden gems of Tunisia, learning similar history without the massive cruise ship crowds! The northernmost point is a fun photo opp and I was also surprised to see it to quiet! It's very out of the way but still. The national park stop was only ok for me. The bird museum wasn't up my alley. I would have liked to see the flamingoes up close rather than white specks far away but that didn't damper the day. My guide was so nice and made a few stops just for me to try the canary melons I had inquired about in the side of the roads and try prickly pears as they were in season. He gave me info on Tunisian wine and recs for where to find it given it was a Friday. He was also so happy to take my picture and give Instagram photo suggestions which I loved! Overall great experience!

Really great tour. The guide, Mohamed, was on time, polite and very good english. He knew the history of the sights and was great at explaining things. Highlight for me was Kap Angela and Bizerte, such a beautiful city, and loved the many nuances of blue we saw in the waters at Kap Angela. But all was good, highy recommend.

Enjoyed our full day excursion to Northern Tunisia. Knowledgeable and friendly driver/guide. Loved our stop in Bizrete - exploring the alleyways and trying the local food for lunch. Amazing Roman ruins, beautiful fields and countryside, National Park, and Cape Angela.
