Corcovado is unquestionably the most raw, challenging and rewarding park in Costa Rica. It truly is the mother of all parks. Transportation for this tours is by boat, so you will experience a very scenic tour in itself as the boat hugs the south pacific shoreline en-route to the park.

Aly (sp?) was very pleasant and knowledgeable. She identified rare species, and ensured we got the fullest experience.

Elbert guided us through Corcovado National Park with all his knowledge and at the same time his own fascination. He has a seventh sense to recognize the smallest animals and also to call them by sounds. Through his lifeblood of his and his origins of the park, we were able to immerse ourselves in a world full of flora and fauna. Also perfect was the large telescope, which allowed you to see the animals even closer. Highly recommended!

We had a fabulous experience from the very start to the end . Alexandra was fun , professional, intelligent and informed. She was great at getting us to the wildlife hotspots. Arguably the best guide we have had in two weeks of tours in CostaRica .

The is a must do tour when in Costa Rica. Corcovado is worth the extra effort needed to get to Drake Bay. Pacheco Tours is very professional and organized. Last but not least Ale was an incredible guide. She is a naturalist and very passionate about the animals, the park and the Costa Rica environment. She was very fun to spend the day with. Most importantly, she could find animals like no other. She knows the park well and uses not only her eyes but also her ears and nose to find animals. We saw a tapir on a hunch hunch five minutes after we entered the park. Two sloths, a pair of ant eaters a number of birds including 4 scarlet macaws and other small mammals and reptiles. It was a great day with a great guide.

Our tour guide was Jose, and he was full of knowledge. He grew up here in the country and we really enjoyed his respect and all of the education he gave us on the nature on Corcovado!! he went over and Beyond to help the entire group experienced the park to its fullest! This is a must do if you’re visiting the Drake area!!!! we even saw a whale on the boat ride there!

The whole experience was so amazing. Getting to see so many different species of monkeys, a tapir up close, toucans, frogs, a tarantula, bats, and even some macaws right at the end of the boat ride. Our tour guide Louis was super knowledgeable and funny, keeping us engaged and laughing throughout. Such an amazing bucket list experience!

The tour itself is great, even though it involved a lot of walking and we didn't see as many animals as we hoped for. What really made the trip unpleasant was the boat ride. It was super bumpy and the seats were hard. We also got drenched when boarding the boat on the way back.

Easy trail with lots of wildlife! Our guide Freiner was kind and very enthousiastic about the animals. The boat ride can be a bit rough but definetely worth it!

They picked us up from Pirate Cove Hotel so we didn't need to make the trip to town, which was nice. They were on time and helpful getting us on the boat (always tricky timing the waves as there are no docks in Drake Bay). The boat ride is about an hour and after almost hitting another boat, we made it there safely. They posted a guude to watch on the way back, which we were very happy about. Be aware of the very sharp rocks as you unload as my husband fell and cut himself as he stepped off the boat. Sandos was a great guide! Super knowledgeable and did his best to fi d as many animals as possible. Nature likes to be evasive so it's difficult to get great photos but with Sandos' ocular and skills with the cell phone, we managed to get some pretty decent ones. My own skills were lacking, however, lol. It was very busy in the park but not unmanageable. Lunch was ok, not easy to feed the masses of people. I'm glad we got to experience it but I wouldn't do it again.

Wonderful experience with Ayder as our guide. As well as all the insects and birds we saw including a fish eagle, we were so lucky to see a Tapir, an anteater, spider monkeys, howler monkeys and a sleepy sloth . Lunch was great and a welcome respite. The plane that crashed in 1974 looking for gold was also fascinating - no-one was reported as killed at the time, but it looked like something straight out of Indiana Jones or 'Nine bodies in a Mexican Morgue'! Thank you Ayder for a very entertaining day.
